The history textbook,as the history teaching book,is compiled according to the curriculum standards stipulated by the state and the students' cognitive characteristics.So far,it is still the most important history teaching material in school history teaching,and it is also one of the most basic tools for teachers and students to carry out history teaching.It is because of the unique and important status of history textbooks that the study of history textbooks in the academic circle is initiated.Especially with the continuous advancement of the reform of history curriculum in various countries,the study of history textbooks is being carried out like a fire.Based on this background,this paper will take the two editions of high school history textbooks on both sides of the Taiwan Straits(the “unified edition” and the “Hanlin edition”)as the research object,and make a comparative study of the compilation of Chinese ancient history in the compulsory section of the two editions only from an academic perspective.This paper will be narrated from the following four parts.The first part from two aspects of the compilation style and structure of history textbooks to analyze the compilation of two editions of history textbooks of Chinese ancient history.The second part on the basic of the two edition of ancient Chinese history textbook part of the text has carried on the comparative study,in this one knowledge content of the two editions in accordance with the time phase are compared,and the statistical to analyze both in content choice what are the similarities and differences,then select three historical events or the nouns from various historical periods,comparing written description of the content.The third part compares the auxiliary texts in the part of ancient Chinese history of the two editions of the textbooks.In this part,the similarities and differences between the two editions of the textbooks on the auxiliary texts will be compared from three aspects of presetting,side-setting and post-setting.The fourth part will put forward some suggestions on the compilation and teaching application of history textbooks.
