PISA is a short name of Programme for International Student Assessment[1].It interprets mathematics literacy from different dimensions and examines various forms;it concerns the ability of 15 years old students to transform actual problems into mathematical problems and students'learning procedure. The development of students'mathematics literacy at this age is going to be a mature state. In our country, the areas that accept the PISA test are limited, and there are few systematic test frameworks to know students'literacy. Therefore, this article draws on the concepts, methods of the PISA test to investigate middle school students and teachers in Nanchong. Finally, some suggestions are provided to mathematics teachers, and some opinions on mathematics teaching are put forward. The following results are obtained:1.Most students learn mathematics because of their expectations for future study and life;2.Students'failure in math tests are attributed most to their own ability and difficulty in completing tasks;3.There are some differences between the self-efficacy and attribution of students of different genders, but there is no difference in their self-control ability and mathematics study effort;4.The mathematics literacy test scores of the liberal arts students have discrepancy;5.Student mathematics literacy test papers have different levels of correlation with the ten factors that affect students'math literacy;6.Mathematics teachers who participated in interviews believes that students'mathematics literacy is mostly related to students'learning attitudes and family economic conditions. Therefore, this article puts forward those suggestions:1.Teachers should treat the mathematics learning of students of different genders equally during the classes;2.Avoid mechanical use of mathematical knowledge by students, and improve students'"Mathematization"ability;3.Teachers should create internal motivation to improve students'mathematics literacy;4.School education should help students achieve their independent development.
