With the continuous advancement of quality education and new curriculum reforms,case teaching methods have received extensive attention and applications in various disciplines.The Ethics and Rule of Law course has a relatively high level of theory,and its knowledge is general and abstract.It has become a course that many students fear.In particular,the publication of the unified edition of the textbook has deeper content and broader knowledge than before.This is also a higher requirement and challenge for the current teaching work,and it also urges the political teachers to seek better teaching methods.The case teaching method is to use cases as an intuitive teaching tool to stimulate the interest of learners,so that they can better obtain theoretical knowledge and develop their abilities.Therefore,political teachers are paying more and more attention to this method and applying it to actual teaching.Then,how to make better use of the teaching effectiveness of the case-based teaching method in the junior high school Ethics and Rule of Law is the problem that this article aims to solve.The case teaching method is conducive to improving students' diversified abilities and enhancing social adaptability;stimulating students' interest in learning,conducive to integrating theory with practice;conducive to teacher-student,student-student interaction;conducive to improving teacher quality.Through theoretical research on predecessors,in-depth classroom observations,and questionnaire surveys and interviews with frontline teachers and students,it is found that the case teaching method also lacks high-quality case resources and case teaching capabilities in the specific application process.Weakly affect the effectiveness of teaching,traditional teaching models affect the implementation of case teaching,students' weak participation in case discussions,and single teaching evaluation standards.In response to these problems,the author proposes solutions from three aspects:First,from the teacher's perspective,it is proposed that teachers should establish an educational concept that emphasizes case teaching and improve their ability to use case teaching;the second is from the student perspective that students should change their concepts and mobilize case discussions.Enthusiasm and stimulate students' interest in case study,and make a good theoretical reserve for case study;third,from the school's perspective,the school should organize teacher case resource sharing and establish a“case database”,implement a multi-dimensional evaluation mechanism for case teaching,and improve case teaching hardware facilities.Combining with its corresponding solutions,the author takes "the law must not be violated" in the unified edition of the eighth grade first volume "Ethics and the Rule of Law" which is being used in frontline teaching as an example.Through case teaching design and specific teaching implementation,it provides a reference for the specific application of case teaching method in actual teaching.
