The "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" clearly pointed out that teachers should pay attention to the role of biological core literacy in student development.As a type of teaching scaffolds,the chart scaffolds can strengthen the connection between knowledge,and have important guiding significance for improving the students' ability to read pictures and developing the students' biological core literacy.However,in the course of teaching practice,due to problems such as irregular design of the chart scaffolds and inflexible application,the chart scaffolds did not play its due practical value.Therefore,in order to solve these problems and give better play to the role of the chart scaffolds in promoting classroom teaching,it is very necessary to study the design and application of the chart scaffolds.Use the literature method to screen,sort out and summarize the relevant research results of the chart bracket at home and abroad;use the questionnaire survey and interview method to investigate and analyze the current situation of the design and application of the chart bracket in the junior middle school biology teaching in Y City,Shandong Province In view of the existing problems,the principles of the design and application of the chart scaffolds are put forward in combination with examples;take the "formation and discharge of urine" section as an example to propose solutions;use the educational experiment method in the seventh grade of S Middle School in Y City,Shandong Province Two classes carried out research on the implementation of the chart scaffolds lesson.Through the above-mentioned research,it is found that the design and application of chart scaffolds in junior high school biology teaching can not only stimulate students' interest in biology learning,but also improve students' ability to read images to a certain extent and enhance their core biological qualities.Finally,the design and application of chart scaffolds in junior high school biology teaching are prospected from three aspects: implementation content and evaluation methods,specific problems encountered in implementation,and further research issues based on implementation conclusions.
