Since the beginning of the last century,Vygotsky's theory of "recent development zone" has shown a dazzling academic light in the field of education and teaching.it has been applied to the theoretical construction and practical guidance of educational disciplines.up to now,it has been widely explored by the educational circles all over the world as a research hotspot.The theory of "recent development zone" puts forward that students have two levels of behavior,one is that students have existing level of development,the other is that students have potential level of development,and the difference between the two levels is called "nearest development zone".At the same time,from a new perspective,the theory creatively expounds the relationship between teaching and development--the core concepts such as teaching should be in the front of development and look at students in a dynamic perspective.It provides a new direction for the reform and development of education and teaching.In the current situation of the domestic large-scale educational environment,various micro-disciplines begin to explore extensively in combination with educational theory in order to seek their own development.At the same time,the field of music education has already begun to explore music ability in order to give better play to the role of music education.Based on the research results of the above theories,it is not difficult to find that the concept of ability level in the "recent development zone" theory is consistent with the theoretical direction of music ability research in music psychology.therefore,the author begins to think about how to develop students' music ability in music teaching.Later,by reading a lot of literature,the author found that there are few studies on the combination of "recent development zone" theory and music teaching,so the author explores the development of students' music ability under the guidance of "recent development" in music teaching in junior middle school.at the same time,I hope to provide a new perspective for the theoretical construction of music discipline.The first part of the paper is the introduction,which first explains the research background and significance of this paper,including the reasons for choosing the topic,as well as the theoretical development and educational background at home and abroad.The second part is the theoretical basis and core concepts.Through the analysis of Vygotsky's "recent development zone" theory and the research results of "music ability" in modern music psychology,the theoretical basis of this study is explained.The composition and fruit of "recent development zone"-scaffolding teaching and three basic music abilities-music rhythm,melody and music memory are introduced in detail.The third part is the investigation of middle school students' "music ability" and the analysis of the test results.a questionnaire survey and music ability test are carried out according to the current students' music ability.The contents of the questionnaire and test are designed and implemented around the three dimensions of music rhythm,music melody and music memory to ensure that students' music ability is comprehensively measured in many aspects.according to the results of the data analysis of students' "music recent development area",laying the groundwork for the cultivation of music ability.The fourth part is the key content of this article,music teaching is based on the establishment of "recent development area" : adhere to student-oriented,emphasize independent development;pay attention to the development of all students because of education;teach students in accordance with their aptitude.Focus on the teaching concept of students' personality development.And further improve the practical strategy of cultivating music ability in music teaching--analyze students' initial music ability,determine the nearest development area;grasp students' psychological characteristics,regulate the overall development level;teach students in accordance with their aptitude according to the actual design and implement hierarchical teaching;based on the nearest development area to build scaffolding,implement scaffolding teaching;periodic test-evaluation of teaching effect.This paper applies the theory of "recent development zone" to all aspects of cultivating music ability in music teaching in junior middle school,and strives to open up ways to cultivate and develop students' music ability.
