In recent years,the STEAM(science,technology,engineering,art,mathematics)has developed rapidly with the support of national policies,and the programming education has adopted in the classroom of secondary vocational schools.However,in the development process,there are still problems in STEAM and programming education:(1)Domestic STEAM education is in the exploratory stage,the popularity is narrow,and there is no mature curriculum system;(2)The expense that STEAM education activities need are high,for the uneven distribution of educational resources,STEAM education in most remote areas,which is led by secondary vocational schools,is only theoretical;(3)Teenagers have few opportunities to learn programming,and the current situation of programming education is not so satisfying.Therefore,the mobile programming is taken as the entry point,turning phone from an indispensable entertainment tool for teenagers to a learning tool.In view of the above problems,the teenagers,secondary vocational school students,are taken as a research object.A mobile programming course framework system is designed under the STEAM concept,a low-cost,easy-to-promote project developed,a project resource library built,and a specific course case is designed.The literature and the field survey method are used in this paper to carry out the following four aspects of research:(1)Through the analysis of foreign the STEAM education,the basic knowledge is summarized,required for project development.Specifically,it includes the hardware of mobile phones and operating system knowledge of mobile phones,mobile APP Inventor,design and production of single-chip system,and appearance design and manufacture;(2)The project curriculum framework system designed the STEAM education concept,based on Herbart's curriculum theory,constructivist learning theory and "learning by doing" theory.The project curriculum structure system under the concept,the curriculum structure is centered on the “selfreversal” classroom,and the four stages of problem discovery,project selection,project implementation and project evaluation are constructed to solve practical problems in life;(3)Online project resources library is established.The project resource library has 20 projects,including problem presentation,program design,STEAM core knowledge,price budget and so on.It is mainly presented in the form of video,micro video,documentation,remote tools,etc.(4)A specific project course is designed with the “pen bag” multimeter taken as an example,carrying out project development,implementation and evaluation according to the designed course structure.Throughout the curriculum design,mainly based on STEAM education,problem-based learning and project-based learning are the teaching methods.In the specific implementation process of the project,the project is anthropomorphized and simplified through modular courses to improve the feasibility of project implementation.The mathematics,science,technology,engineering,and art disciplines are highly integrated to provide a curriculum design paradigm for the entire curriculum.The curriculum framework and instructional design proposed in this paper provide a method and way for STEAM education to be promoted in secondary vocational schools,and these leads to promote the development of the STEAM education in remote areas.
