Study On The Cultivation Of Awareness Of The Rule Of Law Of High School Students In Ideological And Political Courses

At present,China is comprehensively promoting the law-based governance,and the realization of this goal is inseparable from the cultivation of the people's awareness of the rule of law.Senior secondary education is the most important stage of formation of the awareness of rule of law.Strengthening the cultivation of senior high school students' awareness of the rule of law is of great significance not only for the students' own quality,but also for the rule of law in China.The awareness of rule of law was counted as one of the four core qualities of the ideological and political discipline in China's High School Curriculum on Ideology and Politics(issued in 2017).On this background,it is particularly urgent to study how to cultivate senior high school students' awareness of the rule of law more effectively and scientifically.Chapter one expounds the connotation of the awareness of the rule of law,the significance,goal and teaching content in cultivating the awareness of the rule of law in high school ideological and political course.The consciousness of rule of law consists of the consciousness of legal authority,procedure and rule,right and obligation,justice and equality.The cultivation of high school students' awareness of the rule of law is conducive to the all-round development of high school students and the construction of "rule of law in China".It also benefits the full realization of the teaching objectives of ideological and political subjects in high school.Furthermore,it is also helpful to solve some social problems about teenagers.The cultivation of students' consciousness of rule of law in the ideological and political courses should include the knowledge,the ability,the emotional attitudes and the values of the rule of law.Chapter 2 describes the current situation of high school students' awareness of the rule of law and the problems and reasons in the cultivation.According to the survey,most senior high school students are aware of the importance of the rule of law and have a certain awareness of rules and rights protection,but there are problems such as lacking of legal knowledge,disconnection of learning and application,and single way of rights protection.Currently,there are some problems in the cultivation of students' awareness of the rule of law in high school ideological and political course,such as the lack of teachers' awareness of the rule of law,exploration of teaching resources and diversified teaching methods,the unscientific evaluation methods and system.Besides,the environment for the cultivation of students' awareness needs to be improved,and the join forces does not form in its true sense.The main reasons include the restriction of high school students' own characteristics,the influence of score-based concept in the examination-oriented education,teachers' legal literacy training which is either insufficient or single,and the neglect of political science.Chapter 3 puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on how to more effectively carry out the cultivation of the awareness of the rule of law in high school ideological and political course,including:improving the legal literacy and teaching ability of ideological and political teachers;enriching the teaching content of the cultivation of the awareness of the rule of law;innovating the teaching methods of the cultivation of the awareness of the rule of law;constructing a scientific and effective developmental evaluation system and a "social classroom" for the cultivation of the awareness of the rule of law.Finally,with the theme of "learning the legal cases around and growing up with the awareness of the rule of law",the author carries out the case teaching design in order to provide some reference for the cultivation of high school students' legal consciousness in ideological and political courses.
