With the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity,citizens play a more and more important role in social public affairs.The curriculum standard revised in 2020 clearly puts forward the requirements for the cultivation of students’ public participation literacy.As a high school student in the new era shouldering the responsibility of national rejuvenation,he must have public participation literacy.Therefore,as a key course to achieve morality and cultivate people,high school ideological and political course plays an important role in the cultivation of students’ public participation literacy.How to effectively cultivate students’ public participation literacy is an important topic facing the current ideological and political teaching work.Exploring an effective cultivation path has become urgent and important.Through the questionnaire survey of students,it is found that senior high school students have the current situation of low enthusiasm for public participation,insufficient mastery of public participation knowledge,insufficient ability of public participation and limited channels of public participation.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the cultivation of high school students’ public participation literacy and the interview with front-line teachers,it is found that teachers also have many problems in the teaching of cultivating public participation: the lack of teachers’ own quality,the mining of teaching content is not deep,the traditional teaching methods are single,and the teaching evaluation is guided by the results,which is not conducive to the long-term development of students.It can be seen that there are still big problems in the teaching of cultivating public quality in Ideological and political course in senior high school.In view of these problems,this paper starts with the teaching of Ideological and political course,especially the relevant contents in the new teaching materials and new curriculum standards.Teachers should fully tap the knowledge points related to public participation in the teaching materials on the basis of thoroughly understanding the teaching materials.In addition,it is far from enough to rely on the content of teaching materials.It is also necessary to integrate other curriculum resources,increase interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary related knowledge and some auxiliary teaching materials.Secondly,teachers should optimize the teaching of Ideological and political course,including changing teaching ideas and improving their own quality;Enrich the teaching content and deeply tap the cultivation resources;Reasonably select teaching methods and establish an evaluation mechanism to promote students’ development.Thirdly,as the main body of learning,students should give full play to their main role.Guide students to change their learning concepts and enhance their subject consciousness of public participation;Improve learning methods,let students fully express and participate,and improve the ability of public participation.Finally,schools and teachers should provide a public participation platform,make full use of network resources and carry out social practice activities,so as to create a broad space and resources for cultivating students’ public participation ability,which is a necessary supplement to the teaching of Ideological and political course.
