Progress and development of information technology to people's study and life has brought great change.Driven by information technology,the education sector is also facing a series of changes,and "cross-media" teaching is gradually coming to the language classroom as a new type of teaching method.The combination of cross-media and high school novel reading teaching,using cross-media as an important means of language novel teaching,not only plays a huge role in promoting students' novel learning,but also helps teachers develop media literacy,so that they can continuously improve their language teaching ability in the media age.Therefore,proficient cross-media teaching of novels becomes an urgent and arduous task before every high school language teacher.Researching the application of cross-media in novel reading,studying how to grasp theoretically the relevant content of cross-media reading teaching of high school novels,and how to explore the appropriate methods and teaching approaches of cross-media reading of novels in practice have become the key issues facing the language reading field.In this paper,in addition to "Introduction" and "Conclusion",the composition of the three chapters:The first chapter:"Premises and Status Quo of Implementation of Cross-Media Reading Teaching in High School Novels".Cross-media integration of reading instruction to guide students in the learning process in the novel media information,make full use of various media resources for reading,improve students' language literacy,the teaching of reading and language consistent with the requirements of the new curriculum standards.In this chapter,we will discuss "the value of cross-media reading teaching in high school novels","the feasibility of cross-media reading teaching in high school novels" and "the current situation of cross-media reading teaching in high school novels"."In this chapter,we will discuss the following three aspects.The second chapter: "High school cross-media reading novel way of teaching approaches".When high school language teachers teach cross-media reading of novels,there are several ways to integrate and reorganize the teaching content with media,and the achievement of novel teaching objectives is high when they are used well.Combined with novel teaching high school during the different media available,the author believes that there are four ways to teach cross-media novels in high school languages,from text to audio,from text to video,from text to images,and from text to performance.By using audio,video,pictures,and performance to assist in the teaching of novel reading,Students can fully understand the content of the novel text and realize the goal of studying the novel.Encourage students to self-promotion of media literacy in reading literacy and literary fiction in the classroom.The third chapter: "High school novel cross-media reading teaching case".With a scientific and actionable pedagogical approach,it still needs to be concretely implemented into the teaching of a novel reading.In the case of the teaching of reading "blessing" and "Dream of Red Mansions"(the whole book reading list)both cross-media auxiliary novel,found that the novel teaching media age must break the traditional teaching of reading fiction concept,the teaching of reading fiction and media Better integration of technology,let media teaching assist novel reading teaching,and complete novel teaching tasks through text,sound,video,and performance.
