As the rapid development of the society has brought new challenges to the education system since the beginning of the 21 th century,now the new curriculum reform has also focused on developing the students' key competency as the goal for cultivation.In general,it is believed that the students can only adapt to the future if they are capable of having the key competency required in this new century at the same time.The geography curriculum standard also intends to realize goals of "making the students capable of having key competency of comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practical ability." Besides,it is beneficial for the cultivation of students' key competency in geography subject and promote their comprehensive development by focusing on the comprehensive practical activities.As a kind of comprehensive practical activity,the research travel curriculum is not only a simple extension of subject knowledge but an important carrier to combine the knowledge with real practice and then apply such knowledge to solving real problems.As a result,the key point for realizing the sustainable development of research travel curriculum is to develop the resources of research travel courses.In a word,the development of research travel curriculum of geography subject can extend the course resources of geography subject and thus motivate the potential energy of that subject to better serve the teaching practice as well.Based on theories of Taylor's modern curriculum,Tao Xingzhi's life education,constructivism learning and humanism learning,this research believes that the resources development of research travel curriculum of geography subject should comply with principles of safety,educational property,sharing,local characteristics and discipline-specific after reading various Chines and foreign literature.Moreover,it has also proposed the development strategies of developing research travel courses of high school geography subject: firstly,integrating geography subject resources to lay foundation for research travel curriculum;secondly,conducting subject resources development based on research travel curriculum base;thirdly,establishing administration system for school's research travel courses thus to enhance school management;fourthly,promoting the professional development of geography teachers to improve their awareness and ability of curriculum resource development;fifthly,cultivating the students' key competency with innovation.Moreover,it has also adopted various evaluation indicators to design the evaluation scale of research travel courses for various stages of developing research travel curriculum.As a result,it can ensure the quality of research travel courses and propel the solid realization of the key competency of geography subject.In a word,this research has conducted development and design for the research travel curriculum of high school geography in Qinhuangdao according to the curriculum standards,thus providing vest research travel course resources and examples to develop research travel courses.
