With the rapid development of the science of information technology and the economy,society has higher requirements for talents.The cultivation and improvement of students' comprehensive qualities and the cultivation of the ability of class self-management play positive roles in the development of the school,the professional growth of teachers,and the overall development of students.This research is based on the Self-education Theory,the Subjective Education Theory,and the Self-Actualizing Man(theory Y).Literature review,questionnaire survey,and interviews were used to study the class self-management ability of the senior high school students.This research mainly studied the current situation of class self-management,students' self-management consciousness,and self-management ability of students in C senior high school by questionnaire survey and interviews.The subject of the questionnaire survey was a total of 334 students in six classes from three different grades of C school.The subjects of the interview were 10 teachers and 35 students in the three grades of this school.The status quo of the self-management of students' classes was analyzed from five dimensions.Results showed that the situations of class self-management in the C school had the following problems.For students: the students' self-management ability is not strong and there are grade differences;the awareness of students' self-management is relatively weak and there are gender differences;the construction of class cadres is not perfect and the quality is uneven.For headteachers: the management concept of the headteacher is backward;insufficient understanding of class self-management and insufficient expression of student subjectivity;the management method is backward;insufficient professional ability.For school: the support from the school is not enough;a positive classroom management environment was failed to create.Finally,this research gives the following suggestions from the three aspects of students,headteachers,and the school.For different students: make full use of gender differences to enhance students' self-management awareness;improve the system and carry out activities to increase students' enthusiasm;create opportunities to exercise students' self-management ability;carefully guide regular training to enhance the management ability of class leaders.For headteachers: participate in training and further training actively,update management concepts constantly;strengthen communication and thinking,improve the level of self-management of the coaching class;plan career development paths rationally and enhance their professional qualities and professional capabilities.For the school: formulates and implements an autonomous management system for classes;increases the training of class teachers and subject teachers.
