Private education provides differentiated and personalized educational choices for citizens since it is an important part of Chinese education system.The development of privately-run education needs the guarantee and support of teachers with high comprehensive quality,strong professional ability and outstanding innovation consciousness,which puts forward higher requirements for the relevant construction.However,due to the poor guarantee of teachers' salary and legitimate rights and interests,the unstable teaching staff and unreasonable structure,the private schools in compulsory education stage that must be registered as non-profit have faced new challenges,and it is particularly vital to optimize the living conditions of teachers.Therefore,it is conductive to improve their stability and promote the healthy development of privately-run education by studying the correlative existing problems and causes in the current compulsory education stage,thus exploring improvement measures and offering teachers more concerns and understandings.This paper uses the literature method on the basis of domestic and foreign theories and related studies to explain the core concepts and basic theories such as private schools and teachers' living state.Then it conducts the structural living state after combining with their professional characteristics based on the theory of human nature hypothesis and Maslow's hierarchy of needs.Meanwhile it summarizes their living state as material state,spiritual state and professional development state.Under this background,it selects the teachers of private schools in compulsory education stage in J District of Qingdao City as the research objects through investigation,interview and case study.After having data analysis by SPSS,it is found that there are practical problems,such as unsatisfied material needs,poor mental state and promotional professional development.The reasons can be summarized as follows: The imperfect performance appraisal mechanism and the compensation and welfare system;Neglect the construction of humanistic environment,insufficient democratic management;limited promotion evaluation,and few research training opportunities.Finally,it puts forward five strategies and suggestions under problem attribution: establishing a scientific assessment mechanism to guarantee the salary and treatment;Strengthen the construction of campus culture,focus on democratic management;Enhance scientific research training and build a development platform;Give full play to the role of the government with more support;Improve self-identity and cultivate autonomy with certain theoretical basis and practical path for promoting the development of private education.
