As it is clearly pointed out in The Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition),it is necessary to build an activity-based subject curriculum to cultivate the core competence of students of China.Topic-based teaching approach as the main starting point of the construction of activity-based subject courses has become the forefront and hot spot of the theoretical and practical research of ideological and political teaching in senior high schools.Such questions as how the topic-based teaching should be designed,how a topic-based lesson should be implemented,and if this kind of lesson can become the normal lesson in the senior high schools are not only the general confusion and entanglement of the front-line ideological and political teachers,but also the common desire and expectation of them.However,the current situation of focusing on theoretical research but overlooking practical research has failed to meet the needs of front-line teachers’ education and teaching.As an important way to improve teachers’ education teaching ability,the case study of an exemplified lesson is conducive to improve curriculum implement since it can concentrate on the present practical problems in political lesson education of high school.Therefore,the case study of excellent topic-based lessons aligned with the new curriculum,the new teaching standards and the new textbooks will be of great significance to promote a glimmer of teachers’ professional development,better adapt to the developmental needs of the political lesson reform of high school and further improve the teaching quality of ideological education.The present paper takes the two excellent "heterogeneous" lessons of "isomerism of the same class" in "better play the role of the government" in the first national high school ideological and political taste classroom observation meeting as the cases of analysis.The two lessons are described from the aspects of introducing topics,developing topics,exploring topics,and returning topics and further analyzed from the design of teaching elements,implementation,and the effect.The results of the study can shed light on the understanding of the core of topic based teaching,the accurate mastery of the links of topic based teaching,and the promotion of the active discussion in the class.The implication of the study lies in the fact that it can enhance the normalization of topic-based teaching in the provision of the demonstrative guidance and useful reference for the majority of high school ideological and political teachers and the in-depth implementation of topic-based teaching approach in high school political class.
