Discovery-based teaching mode is a teaching mode that starts from mobilizing students' motivation and interest in discovering problems,and takes students' independent learning and active exploration as the main teaching process.The purpose is to optimize the teaching process and promote the realization of teaching goals.Compared with the traditional "teacher-centered" teaching mode,the discovery-based teaching mode embodies the "student-centered" and "student-oriented" educational philosophy,which can stimulate students' interest in learning and make students actively participate in the teaching activities.At last,it will improve the efficiency of student learning,and promote the physical and mental development of students.This article takes the high school mathematics sequence as the specific research object,based on the new concepts advocated by the new curriculum reform,pedagogy,psychology and contemporary pedagogy.The author will try to explore how to apply the discovery-based teaching mode to the teaching of mathematics sequence in the high school.This research is helpful to correct the shortcomings of the traditional teaching of mathematics sequence,and further improve the related teaching effect.This article starts with exploring the background and theoretical basis of the discovery-based teaching mode and analyzes its significance.Besides,the author explains the reason why the mathematics sequence is selected as the representative of the research.What's more,the author states the research ideas and methods of this article.In general,this research discusses the discovery-based teaching mode which includes its definition,historical evolution,characteristics and advantages,and the implementation steps of the discovery-based teaching mode.This paper investigates and analyzes the teaching of mathematics sequence in high school,according to the discovery-based teaching mode.And this research will investigate high school students and teachers with the method of questionnaires and interview,and it will use SPSS software to test the reliability and validity of the 16 questionnaires.In the test,the two classes were tested using the discovery-based teaching mode and the traditional acceptance-based teaching mode.By analyzing the results of the experiment,this article will discuss the scientificity and rationality of the discovery-based teaching mode,summarize its advantages and disadvantages.So we can analyze the general requirements and specific implementation steps of the discovery-based teaching mode,as well as the requirements for adopting this teaching mode and some of the issues to be paid attention to.The specific requirements are requirements for teaching objectives,classes,teachers and some objective conditions.The specific implementation steps are carried out from four aspects: raising questions,making assumptions,drawing conclusions,and practical applications.Based on the analysis of the results of questionnaires and interviews,this article uses the discovery-based teaching mode to apply and practice the teaching of the mathematics sequences.The application of the discovery-based teaching mode is studied from the three types of courses-new lectures,exercises and review courses.In addition,the author will analyze the specific teaching cases,constantly improve the teaching methods,and put forward reasonable teaching suggestions.Based on data analysis and effective cases,it is concluded that the discovery-based teaching method is feasible in the teaching of high school mathematics sequence.The effective conclusion of this paper is that it is beneficial for students to acquire and understand knowledge by adopting discovery teaching mode in class.Discovery teaching mode stimulates students' learning motivation and makes them interested in learning.The created problem situations can trigger students' thinking and let students participate in the class.Students can explore,think and solve problems independently.In addition,it is a good choice to apply the discovery teaching mode to the teaching of sequence in high school,which can help students better learn the content of sequence.Finally,the author puts forward the shortcomings of this article and prospects the application of the discovery-based teaching mode.We believe that the discovery-based teaching mode will make great progress through the continuous exploration of the majority of educators.
