With the deepening of education informatization,teachers' information literacy has an increasing impact on the effectiveness of informatized education and teaching activities,and information literacy has gradually become an important element of teachers' professional development.In April 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the Action Plan for Education Informatization 2.0,clearly stating the core concept of adhering to the deep integration of information technology and education teaching,and vigorously improving teachers' information literacy.Improving teachers' information literacy can help teachers improve their knowledge system,enhance their teaching ability in the information technology environment,promote their own professional development,strongly promote education informatization,and improve the effectiveness of education informatization.At present,domestic and international studies on teachers' information literacy mainly focus on the definition and its influencing factors,and there are relatively few studies on information literacy for secondary school biology teachers.This study used literature reading,classroom observation,questionnaires,and interviews as research methods to study secondary school biology teachers,with teacher professional development theory,constructivist learning theory,and information literacy theory as theoretical guides.This study explored the current situation of secondary school biology teachers' information literacy and the problems that exist,identified the factors that affect secondary school biology teachers' information literacy,and accordingly proposed strategies to improve secondary school biology teachers' information literacy.The study found that the current level of information literacy among secondary school biology teachers is generally average,but very close to a higher level and is developing to a higher level.However,there are also problems such as strong information awareness but insufficient innovation awareness,mastering basic information knowledge but lacking deep learning,having basic information technology biology teaching ability but not enough application depth,and having basic information ethics but still needing to be strengthened.The factors affecting secondary school biology teachers' information literacy are divided into two categories: internal factors include their own lack of motivation to improve information literacy and their own lack of information skills,and external factors include part-time jobs other than teaching biology,school environment and information literacy training.Based on the current problems and influencing factors of secondary school biology teachers' information literacy,this paper proposes strategies to improve secondary school biology teachers' information literacy at three levels: teacher level,school level,and information literacy training level.First,at the teacher level,secondary school biology teachers themselves should pay attention to information literacy,regularly learn new information knowledge and information technology,continuously innovate biology teaching in the information environment,and set information literacy goals for different professional development stages by combining teacher professional development theories with their own reality.Second,at the school level,schools should establish and improve information literacy evaluation criteria and evaluation mechanisms,strengthen the construction of information technology hardware and software facilities and resources,and establish an inter-school biology teacher exchange and seminar platform to promote the improvement of secondary school biology teachers' information literacy.Finally,at the level of information literacy training,future information literacy training should include information ethics,increase the proportion of teachers' personal operation in training,strengthen the pertinence of training,and focus on the integration of information technology and biology subjects.
