As a special group, urban left-behind elementary school students have not received the theoretical attention they deserve. From the perspective of theoretical researchers, this group has moderate material conditions compared to rural left-behind children, they are well fed and clothed, and they are in a better cultural resource. However, they tend to compare themselves with their urban peers, and their helplessness and hopelessness are hidden in their subconscious, thus creating a sense of relative deprivation,so this group should receive due theoretical attention. The study of the living environment and psychological state of urban left-behind elementary school students has both practical and theoretical significance. The core issue that this study seeks to address is how to enhance individuals' ability to successfully solve problems and cope with stress when faced with setbacks.First, group recruitment was conducted.Eight elementary school students with low scores on the questionnaire were selected to conduct group activities.Secondly,we conducted "Get to know me,get to know you","Say goodbye to stress","Strengths explosion","Draw my support tree","Love should be said out loud","Strength in unity","See you again" seven group activities. Then, the effectiveness of the resilience scores of the eight elementary school students was evaluated before and after the test.Through the group activities, the group members improved their emotional control, positive cognitive skills, and goal-focused skills in a targeted manner. This resulted in not only more family support, but also a significant improvement in interpersonal communication skills and a good demonstration of resilience in the face of difficulties. On the basis of the study,we propose the following recommendations: to enhance the recognition and participation of urban left-behind elementary school students in group work in multiple ways,to use social work methods to improve the resilience of urban left-behind elementary school students, and to link resources in multiple ways to form a synergy to maintain the continuity of activities to improve the resilience of urban left-behind elementary school students.
