With the advancement of urbanization in my country,a large number of rural laborers have flowed into cities, and many rural left-behind children have emerged.Resilience is the protective umbrella and talisman for the healthy growth of left-behind children.Low levels of resilience are more likely to cause left-behind children to have low self-evaluation,deviant behavior and emotional problems, and insufficient ability to cope with difficulties. Therefore, improving the resilience level of left-behind children is of great significance for the healthy growth of left-behind children. This study focuses on the issue of improving the resilience of left-behind children in Z Village,Zaozhuang City, and transforms resilience into a sense of optimism, belonging, and efficacy. This study relies on the practice of the left-behind children service station in Z Village,Zaozhuang City, guided by the theory of resilience, using the group work method,to six left-behind children with low levels of resilience,self-identification,peer support, goal setting,Emotion management and problem solving carried out seven group work intervention activities, using the methods of pre-test and post-test of resilience level, group member satisfaction and social worker self-assessment to evaluate group activities. The study found that the resistance levels of the 6 team members were improved to different degrees, the theory was selected appropriately, the theory and practice were interconnected, and the specific factors of resistance were mutually promoted during the intervention process. There are deficiencies in research design, lack of rigor, small improvement in peer support and lack of systematic intervention at other levels, and group work intervention methods fail to take into account the commonalities and differences of group members.Suggestions are made from three perspectives:strengthening research design and capabilities, intervention levels, and intervention methods.First, attach importance to research design and improve the ability to analyze and process data.Second, attach importance to resources, taking into account and balance the breadth and depth of intervention.Third, the practical approach should be effectively echoed with the needs of the client.
