In the knowledge society,critical thinking points to high-level cognition that people will not be stuck in the same place.Therefore,critical thinking has become a necessary ability,it helps people find the best solution to solve problems when they encounter problems.Based on this,this study is based on the PBL teaching model and integrates the cultivation of critical thinking into the model.It explores the influence of PBL teaching model on their critical thinking tendency,guiding students to build a connection with knowledge by using questions,so as to generate a deeper construction of knowledge in the process of solving problems.First of all,by analyzing domestic and foreign policy documents and literature and defining the relevant concepts in this paper,the current domestic and foreign researches on the teaching of critical thinking and PBL have been combed,and the research methods and existing model framework of its cultivation have been comprehended to lay a foundation for this study.Based on the existing PBL teaching model framework and characteristics,combined with the structure and connotation of critical thinking tendency,a feasible training model was designed.Secondly,on the basis of the model,PBL teaching experiments were carried out to cultivate college students’ critical thinking.Teaching activities were designed by taking specific courses as examples,and questionnaires about critical thinking tendencies were distributed to students.Finally,the impact of the experiments on the critical thinking on college students was analyzed,the problems and unsatisfactory aspects in the process were reflected,as well as the measures and inspirations for improvement and further discussion in the following research process were summarized.In the end,the research has found that the experimental classes have significantly higher outcomes in the five dimensions.It illustrates the feasible training model designed in this study has the positive influence on development of students’ critical thinking tendency.Also,the openness and acceptance of students’ thinking,the ability to analyze information and solve problems systematically have been improved.Moreover,it is also found by interviews that students have learned to question,doubt and reflect,and they also think more comprehensively and rigorously in the process of thinking about and solving problems.
