The 21st century is an era in which information and technology coexist.We should have both knowledge and thinking ability.This is the requirement of a rapidly developing society.And critical thinking is one of the most important.People should have critical thinking.Then we can use the tendency of critical thinking actively and can also be enough to use analysis,reasoning and other skills to solve problemsThe premise of developing critical thinking tendency is to understand the current situation of students' critical thinking tendency.This study summarizes the relevant achievements of critical thinking research at home and abroad,clarifies the specific problems and research ideas,and discusses the relevant theories.After that,this paper summarizes the measurement tools of critical thinking at home and abroad,and adds physical situational description to the critical thinking disposition questionnaire(CTDI-CV)adapted by Peng MEICI,and adapts the test questions according to junior high school students' cognitive level and language habits.By using this questionnaire,this paper investigates the critical thinking tendency of junior high school students in a public middle school in P City,Henan Province.Through data analysis,it finds out the existing problems and deficiencies,and puts forward some suggestions for cultivation.The results show that the current situation of senior high school students' critical thinking tendency has the following characteristics:1.On the whole,the average value of junior high school students' critical thinking tendency is slightly higher than the third level,and they are in a positive state;2.From all dimensions,the scores of students' thirst for knowledge and open thinking are relatively high,and their thirst for knowledge and ability to accept different views are strong;But there are some problems,such as poor analytical ability,disorganized problem solving and lack of self-confidence.3.Further analysis found that: there are differences among junior high school students with different grades: the better the grade,the higher the score of critical thinking tendency,while grade and gender have little effect on students' critical thinking tendency.Combined with the results of statistical analysis and the local education situation,this study analyzes the causes of the current situation of junior high school students' critical thinking tendency,and believes that traditional concepts,examination system,teaching methods and students' own knowledge background have a certain impact on junior high school students' critical thinking tendency.On this basis,it puts forward some suggestions for the development of critical thinking tendency: change the traditional concept,create a harmonious atmosphere for teachers and students;Optimize teaching methods,stimulate students' interest in learning;Increase the knowledge reserve and lay a good foundation for students' own knowledge.
