Childhood is an important stage of physical and mental development and the development and improvement of various physical qualities, which will not only affect the current physical health of children, but also affect the later growth and development of children and the improvement of various physical qualities.Relevant studies have shown that among children aged 7-9,it is easy to have coordination disorders, which in turn hamper the development of physical quality in adolescence.Based on this, this paper combined with the concept of cha-cha dance, starting from the research status of children's coordination ability at home and abroad, and through experimental intervention to explore the influence of cha-cha dance on coordination ability and the degree of influence.Research Objective:To explore the influence of cha-cha training on coordination ability of 7-9 year old students, and to provide some theoretical reference for 7-9 year old children to improve coordination ability through cha-cha training.Research Methods:Literature review, experimental method, expert interview and other methods were used to conduct the research. The experimental method was based on the experimental group of 41 students from Class 10,Grade 2,Fourth Primary School Attached to Hefei Normal School,Hefei City,Anhui Province, who were given cha-cha dance intervention for four months. The class was given four times a week,10 minutes each time,in the form of class practice.Forty-one students from Class 12 performed normal physical education for the control group.Research results:(1)The results of 30 seconds rope skipping test show that the experimental group of students after the experiment rope skipping increased by 25 times, the increase of more than 50%.It shows that cha-cha dance practice can effectively improve the coordination ability of students' upper and lower limbs, and enhance the coherence and fluency of students' movements.(2)The results of fist and palm exchange test showed that the number of fist and palm exchanges in the experimental group was significantly more than that in the control group, and the accuracy was also higher than that in the control group, with an increase of 36%,which indicated that cha-cha training had some help to the improvement of children's body transformation ability.(3)The test results of balance beam walking and eye closing on one foot showed that the support performance of eye closing on one foot in the experimental group increased by 11 seconds, with an increase of more than 50%,and the time of balance beam walking shortened by 2 seconds, with an increase of 37%,indicating that the cha-cha dance practice can effectively improve children's balance ability.(4)The test results of cross quadrant dance showed that the time of cross quadrant dance in the experimental group was shorter after the experiment, with an increase of 37%,which was closely related to the "four beats and five moves" of cha-cha dance rhythm and the change of basic step direction in practice.(5)Rhythm running project test results show that the experimental group of students after the experiment rhythm running time is short, low error rate, the increase of 43%,which is closely related to the training of middle school students' perception of the rhythm of music, music stimulation to improve students' grasp of the rhythm, make the movement more rhythmic sense.Research conclusions:Finally, based on the experimental data, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Cha-cha intervention for children aged 7-9 in the critical period of coordination ability development can have an impact on students' coordination ability, and the effect is relatively significant.(2)Cha-cha practice can promote students' ability of coherence, reaction, balance, transformation and rhythm.(3)Cha-cha dance practice has more obvious influence on students' static balance ability and coherence ability, and has less influence on rhythm ability, dynamic balance ability, transformation ability and reaction ability.
