In the face of the collision and impact of uneven foreign cultures,we should actively inherit and carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture,firmly establish cultural confidence and national pride.Integrating elements of Chinese traditional culture into high school geography textbooks not only responds to the national call but also meets the requirements of the curriculum.This study is a comparative analysis of the excellent traditional culture in the four new editions of high school geography textbooks,aiming to effectively promote the implementation of the excellent traditional culture content in high school geography textbooks.This study firstly analyzes the current situation of excellent traditional culture in the four editions of high school geography textbooks,and defines the concept of excellent traditional Chinese culture;then sorts out the elements of excellent traditional culture in the four editions of textbooks in seven aspects,including distribution chapters,presentation,distribution location,specific content,types,embedded geographic knowledge and organization,and further analyzes the statistical results for each edition.Finally,combining with the problems found in the survey,some teaching strategies are proposed for strengthening excellent traditional culture in the implementation of high school geography textbooks,and a geography teaching case permeated with excellent Chinese traditional culture is designed and analyzed in the case.The following conclusions were obtained from this study: there are some differences in the infiltration of excellent traditional culture in the four new editions of high school geography textbooks;in general,the total amount of excellent traditional culture contained in Geography 2 is more than that in Geography 1,which reflects to a certain extent that Chinese excellent traditional culture is more closely connected with human geography;the arrangement of excellent traditional culture in each edition of textbooks is fragmented and unevenly distributed among textbook chapters;in the revised When revising the content of good traditional culture in geography textbooks,it is necessary to enhance the interestingness and geography of the selected materials.The survey study found that geography teachers teach excellent traditional culture in a single way,and most students think that teachers should strengthen the teaching of excellent traditional culture or organize related activities.Finally,a few suggestions for strengthening excellent traditional culture education in the implementation of high school geography textbooks are proposed: improving geography teachers' own excellent traditional culture literacy and strengthening teachers' awareness of the application of excellent traditional culture in textbooks;organizing teaching competitions about excellent traditional culture in new textbooks to promote the implementation of new textbooks;expanding relevant excellent traditional culture resources outside textbooks to meet students' diversified In addition,we also organize teaching competitions on good traditional culture in the new textbooks to promote the implementation of the new textbooks;expand the resources of good traditional culture outside the textbooks to meet the diversified learning needs of students;and conduct study tours related to good traditional culture in geography teaching to enhance students' identification with good traditional Chinese culture while having fun.In general,we expect to improve students' cultural literacy and geography subject literacy,and effectively implement the educational requirements of excellent traditional culture in the new geography textbook.
