In the autumn of the year 2018,the government launched a new round of college entrance exam reform.As one of the third group of pioneering cities,the administration of Hebei Province executed the “3+1+2” subject selection model.However,in the scope of implementing the reform of the exam and enrollment system,some problems exist.Having a little knowledge of professional science and skills,students and their parents have difficulty in selecting subjects.They can’t balance ideal subjects against personal ability wisely.In terms of educational management and teaching resources,the construction of the Class Selection System needs improving.Conducting the research of the situation of the senior high school students’ class selection and the specific measures and organizing the students to select and implement the Class Selection System practically are necessary and significant.In order to study the situation on the subject selection of students in the context of the new system,method of the study,questionnaire and interview method are adopted.By taking the No.A Middle School as a sample,this paper,which are based on the theories like“Vocational Development”,“Theory of Multiple Intelligence”,“Holland’s Vocational Interest”,deeply explores the allocation of teaching resources and the execution of the subject selection system of the school,as well as the perceptions of the students and teachers in ordinary high school on the system,the willingness and influence factors related to the subject selection,and current problems with the selection work,and correspondingly sets forth countermeasures.This article mainly consists of five parts:Part one is the introduction.The first part mainly contains: the purpose and significance of the research,the definition of concepts,research concept and methods,etc.Part two is theoretical basis,including “Vocational Development”,“Theory of Multiple Intelligence”,“Holland’s Vocational Interest”and so on.Part three is the analysis of the current situation of students’ self-selection in the new college entrance exam.There are five dimensions,including policy influence,school factors,personal factors,parent factors,and college factors.The interview results analyze the understanding as well as the personal feelings of subject selection from the perspectives of teachers and students.The fourth part is analyzing the reasons that the current situations of subject selection exit in School A.Specifically,it analyzes the causes and effects of the current subject selection situation in School A: unclear self-understanding of students,lack of career guidance,comprehensive understanding of admission and subject selection information,improper school management,guidance of the selection of subjects,directionless parental opinions,and insecure teaching resources.The fifth part is an analysis of the effective measures for the subject selection.The government makes the adjustment on the allocation of teaching resources,promoting the implementation of the new college entrance exam system,containing the top-level design from the government level,the optimization of resource allocation from the school level,the strengthening of information disclosure from the university level and the students make clear career plans.Teachers participate in practical training,widen their horizons,and improve the comprehensive ability.The students and their parents pay attention to the newly information and policy.having a deep understanding of the new college entrance exam reform and subject selection.This theme and study are profound and extremely meaningful.
