In a certain period of Chinese education development,career planning education has been neglected in some Chinese high schools.However,with the deepening of the new round of college entrance examination reform,the education of career planning for regular senior high schools comes into focus.Especially with the implementation of the "choice three from six options","3+1+2","Academic Level Examination","Course selection and flexible classes " and "major+school" reformation,as well as the new concepts of "respecting students' choices" and "providing more opportunities for students to choose",more and more high schools start to pay highly attention on students career planning education.However,the integration of career planning education in Chongqing is relatively late in the background of the new college entrance examination reform;Therefore,doing surveys to analyze the status quo of career planning education in Chongqing's regular senior schools and comprehending the level of students' career maturity are of practical significance.To this end,my paper takes four general senior high schools in Chongqing as an example and various research approaches are adopted like document analysis,questionnaire research and interview investigation to study the status quo,issues and countermeasures of career planning education for senior high school students in Chongqing in the view of the new college entrance examination.The final results show that the level of career education for high school students in Chongqing is relatively low and the career maturity of high school students is poor.The problems mainly involve in the weak awareness of career planning among senior high school students,the shortage of qualified and professional faculties,the lack of systematization and its relevant activities carried out in school career planning education management.To solve these problems,this paper gives solutions in combing the relevant theoretical basis and proposes targeted countermeasures.From the school side,we should raise the awareness of career planning education,build a whole process and personalized career planning education system,establish a mechanism of in-school activities and out-of-school practice,strengthen the construction and investment of teachers,and implement the evaluation mechanism for career planning education courses;From the teacher side,we should enrich the form of second classroom,innovate the way of classroom teaching and training,improve the level of self-professional ability,and strengthen the infiltration of career planning in course teaching;From the student side,we need to establish the correct cognition of career planning and actively participate in career planning education;in addition,we also need the family,government education department and social media to form a joint effort to improve it.
