At the beginning of 2018,"Biology Curriculum Standard for General Senior High School(2017 edition)" was announced.A new round of basic education reform was developed on the basis of drawing lessons from successful experiences of foreign countries,and the purpose of biology curriculum design for senior high school in China--core literacy of biology discipline was developed.This idea reflects the value demand of the national will and social development for the cultivation of biological talents,and is also the biological viewpoint,thinking mode and problem-solving ability that students need to gradually form in the process of learning biological science.How to implement the core quality of biology subject in classroom teaching and realize the requirements of the new curriculum standard is a problem worth thinking about.At the same time,inquiry-based learning activities are recognized as one of the effective ways to cultivate scientific literacy in international education community,and have been promoted and applied in many countries.As an educator in the new era,we should be good at combining new educational concepts with classroom teaching.Therefore,this study starts with the design and classroom practice of high school biology inquiry-based activities based on core literacy,and proposes the design principles and classification methods.In addition,some representative contents of the 2019 HUMAN Education Edition high school biology compulsory textbooks were selected and designed as exploratory activities,and a ten months of classroom teaching practice was implemented.The study took two classes of the same level of 2020 in a senior high school in Yan 'an city as the research objects,using five scientific methods such as literature research,action research method,case study method.Combined with the test of the subjects' biological core literacy and the interviews of teachers and students on the development of high school biological exploratory activities under the core literacy.And Excel and SPSS23 were used to analyze the scores of 19 second-level indicators in four dimensions of biological core literacy,and feedback the effect of classroom teaching practice.Finally,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The effect of high school biology of inquiry-based activities:(1)It can stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning biological science,active classroom atmosphere,improve classroom participation,and facilitate students' active thinking;(2)It can significantly promote the improvement of students' scores and benefit their academic development;(3)It can improve the core literacy level of students.In addition,the improvement of girls more than boys than that of male students.Among the different levels of students,students in good grades improved more than those in excellent,pass and fail grades.(2)Difficulties in carrying out high school biology exploratory activities:(1)Students: lack of time for preview and lack of exploratory ability,resulting in exploratory activities difficult to achieve the expected results;(2)Teachers: they do not have a deep understanding of the core quality of biology,and their own ability is insufficient,which makes it difficult to design exploratory activities suitable for the content of teaching materials;(3)School: without corresponding support.(3)The selection tendency of teaching mode:(1)Students like the exploratory classroom,but they are more inclined to choose the traditional classroom mode;(2)High school biology teachers rarely show enthusiasm for inquiry,preferring to choose the traditional classroom model.(4)The eight types of exploratory activities in this study were reflected after implementation,and the effects of the activities,problems encountered in the implementation process and solutions were analyzed.The innovation of this study lies in the proposed classification principles and classification methods of biological exploratory activities in high school based on core literacy.In addition,some representative contents of 2019 HUMAN Education Edition high school biology compulsory textbooks were selected and systematically organized into reference exploratory activity designs.It provides examples for biology classroom teaching after the new curriculum reform.
