With the proposal of core literacy,more and more teachers and scholars began to pay attention to the cultivation of students' core literacy.As an important part of the subject teaching,the inquiry and practice activities contain the educational value of students to adapt to the future development,and provide a strong support for the implementation and practice of the core literacy of the biological discipline.This research mainly includes two parts: the content analysis of senior high school biology inquiry and practice activities and the difference research of ability level.First of all,by means of educational content research method and comparative analysis method,the research and practice activities of senior high school biology textbooks are systematically analyzed to explore the characteristics and change trend of the distribution,quantity,type,goal and process of the activities.Then,taking the senior high school students in Hanzhong area as the research object,using the method of questionnaire survey,analyzing the development level of senior high school students' inquiry and practice activities.Finally,based on the variables of region and grade,the differences between senior high school biology inquiry and practice ability are analyzed,and the improvement strategies are proposed.The following conclusions are drawn from the study:1.High school biology textbooks(2019 edition)to explore and practice activities are widely distributed in different modules,including observation,inquiry,simulation,reasoning,practice and other types of activities,including to explore activities accounted for 71.00%,practice model production accounted for 50.00%,activity content comprehensive,observation,activity target more fit the core quality requirements.2.Senior high school students' biological exploration and practical ability are relatively inadequate.The ability of observation activity was the highest(12.18),followed by simulation activity(1.66),and reasoning activity was the lowest(1.09).In practical activities,the ability level of research activity is relatively the highest,followed by investigation activity,and retrieval activity is the lowest.On the whole,the students' abilities are as follows: directly subordinate district > Pingyuan county > mountain county.The students' inquiry ability,reasoning thinking ability,modeling ability and data acquisition ability need to be further improved.3.The level of biological inquiry and practical ability in high school varied significantly in region,grade,personality,learning interest,academic achievement,career tendency,and learning style variables(p<0.01),and showed significant differences between thinking style and learning style(0.010.05).Finally,in view of the development level and existing problems of students 'inquiry and practice ability,the author puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the four aspects of textbooks,schools,teachers and students,to provide a basis for further improving students' exploration and practical ability,and to provide data support for high school biology teachers to carry out classroom teaching and practice their core literacy.
