Observation is a must-have professional literacy and primary responsibility of teachers,and observation ability is an important content of kindergarten teachers'professional development.By purposeful sampling,two teachers of Nanjing H kindergarten were selected as the research objects,and the role growth of case teachers as observers was studied by interview and text analysis.The study found that the observer role grew up in four stages:the first stage:misunderstanding and rejection of observation and evaluation,resistance to observation records;the second stage:paying attention to and approaching observation and evaluation,germinating observation interest;the third stage:understanding the integration of teaching and observation,implementing observation behaviors;the fourth stage:scientific observation and evaluation,enjoying observation charm.Based on the four stages,the researcher firstly analyzed the changing process of observer's role growth from three aspects:role consciousness,role ability and role behavior.Secondly,the influencing factors of observer's role growth are analyzed from teachers' personal level,kindergarten level and pre-service education level.Finally,combined with the cause analysis,the researcher draws corresponding enlightenment and suggestions from three aspects:teachers' individual,kindergarten and university.For teacher,stimulate rational and perceptual educational emotions,strengthen role identity;pay attention to and insist observation,raise role ability;strengthen practice and accumulate experience,improve role behavior.For kindergarten,cultivate atmosphere of putting a high value on observation,create conditions of supporting observation,change the path of culturing observer role.For pre-service education,observation courses should be added,practice courses should be cooperated with theoretical courses.
