In today's society,science and technology has already become the core factor of social development.The level of scientific quality of citizens has an important impact on the development of the country and the progress of society.High school stage is the key period to form a higher level of scientific quality,and participating in science and technology activities is one of the effective ways to cultivate high school students' scientific quality.Therefore,the development of science and technology activities has become the focus of attention in recent years.In this context,it is of great significance to explore how science and technology activities affect the scientific quality of high school students.In this context,it is of great significance to study how the various types of extracurricular science and technology activities affect the scientific quality of young people.This study uses the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview survey to make an empirical study of senior two students in Nanjing area,to understand the basic situation of students' participation in science and technology activities and the level of scientific quality,focus on the analysis of the specific impact of different types of science and technology activities on the scientific quality of teenagers,and put forward suggestions on the development of science and technology activities on the basis of the research.The survey results show that most students participate in science and technology activities for 1-2 times in senior high school,and the main reasons are teachers' mobilization and their own interests.The types of science and technology activities with a large number of participants are science and technology festival,science and technology week,subject competition and scientific inquiry practice activities.The research divides the scientific quality into six dimensions,which are scientific knowledge,scientific method,scientific thought,scientific spirit,the ability to solve practical problems and the ability to participate in public affairs.The more times students participate in science and technology activities,the higher the total score of scientific quality;the different motives of participating in science and technology activities have little effect on students' scientific quality.In the process of exploring the relationship between the types of science and technology activities and the six dimensions of scientific quality,it is found that science and technology activities,such as subject competition and popular science lecture,which pay attention to knowledge dissemination and are theoretical,have a greater impact on students' scientific knowledge,while science and technology activities,such as scientific and technological comprehensive competition,which are practical and operational,have a greater impact on students' scientific methods.Science and technology comprehensive competition has more obvious influence on science students' scientific thought and spirit than liberal arts students because of its activity characteristics.Activities such as scientific research,popular science report and science and technology festival have greater influence on these two dimensions of liberal arts students' scientific quality.Therefore,some suggestions are put forward for the development of science and technology activities: avoid being too utilitarian,improve the internal motivation of students' choice;optimize the team of science and technology activity tutors,improve the level of tutors;improve the hardware and software to provide a strong guarantee for the development of science and technology activities;according to the individual differences of students,develop appropriate science and technology activity programs;school family and society work together to provide a variety of services The channels of science and technology activities.
