| With the change of curriculum concept and the promulgation of the general high school geography curriculum standard(2017 Edition),the cultivation of geography practical ability has become a common concern of textbook developers and teachers.The geography field survey activities,as an important way to cultivate geography practical ability,plays a significant role in the textbook activity system.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standard for geography practical ability,this paper analyzes the characteristics of field survey activities in the compulsory part of different geography textbooks used by high school,and compares the differences of them.Combined with the selected cases of field survey activities,this paper summarizes the training strategies of geography practical ability.The main contents of this paper are as follows.First of all,this paper analyzes the composition of geographical practical ability and divides it into five dimensions: the ability to collect and process information,the ability to use geographical tools,the ability to design and implement practical activities,consciousness attitude and innovation ability,and divides each dimension of geographical practical ability into four levels according to the level of curriculum standards.Then it combs the field survey activities of various editions of textbooks,and analyzes the specific performance level of students’ geographical practice ability required by different activities.Secondly,this paper uses the methods of text analysis and comparative research to compare the compilation forms,survey objects and the level of Geographical Practice of the four editions of textbooks,and draws the following conclusions: first,the compilation forms of field survey activities include section activities,chapter activities and unit topics.The activities in the festival are real-time,closely related to the contents learned in this section,and undertake the teaching of some new knowledge;The activities at the end of the chapter are comprehensive and can cover a wider range in the design and implementation of the activities;The unit topic has coherence,it can achieve chapter linkage,come down in one continuous line.Second,the objects of the field investigation activities of the fourth edition textbooks include physical geography things and human geography phenomena,and human geography phenomena account for a large proportion.Third,the field survey activities of the fourth edition of textbooks require students’ geography practice ability at level one and level two,which highlights the foundation and practicability of compulsory textbooks.Thirdly,this paper uses the case analysis method to sort out and summarize 10 typical field survey cases,and thinks that to improve students’ geographical practice ability,we need to achieve: clear requirements,hierarchical and gradient activity goals;Mobilize communication,be influenced by others,and improve the quality of will;Teaching with pleasure and learning with pleasure;Integrating emotion into scenery;Promoting migration;Establish the evaluation system of geographical practice ability;Improve the feedback mechanism of field investigation activities.Finally,this paper makes suggestions for the compilation of field survey activities in textbooks.This paper holds that compiling field survey activities need to change the participation mode of activities,give full play to the subjective initiative,consider the choice of time and space of activities,fit the real-life situation,clarify the methods and steps of activities,strengthen geographical practice ability,pay attention to digital geographic tools,and cultivate geographical professional skills. |
