Introduction to history is one of the optional courses stipulated in the2017 edition of general high school history curriculum standards.Different from the previous curriculum system,the elective courses of the new curriculum standard are in the position of not taking the exam or preparing for the exam in the new college entrance examination.Such a change in the status of the course leads to the fact that the elective course "Introduction to history" is easily ignored by the majority of teachers in various schools.In fact,the content of "Introduction to history" is the core theory and method in historical research.The study of this course will help students to deepen their understanding of the knowledge content of compulsory courses,which belongs to the theoretical course.Moreover,the curriculum goal of the new curriculum has changed from three-dimensional goal to core literacy,and the new curriculum system is designed closely around the core literacy."Introduction to history" has a very important role and significance in cultivating students' core literacy.Moreover,from the perspective of the new college entrance examination,the open essay question in the college entrance examination proposition has become a classic topic,whether it is the national volume or the local volume,which is a reserved topic.Every year,there are many front-line teachers studying the open essay questions.It is not difficult to find out from various research papers that the intention of open proposition mostly tests students' core literacy of history subject,their ability to analyze historical materials and their written expression ability of historical papers.The cultivation of this key ability is reflected in the course "Introduction to history".Therefore,although this course is an elective course,it is very helpful for the cultivation of students' historical thinking and core literacy.For history teachers,it is also a great challenge to teach this course well.Therefore,when teaching this course,history teachers should pay attention to the positioning and content of the course,accurately study the course standards,deepen their theoretical knowledge literacy,pay attention to the effectiveness of the classroom,give full play to the students' dominant position,highlight the learning method of independent inquiry,pay attention to the combination of theory with practice,carry out teaching around the core literacy,and accumulate teaching cases,And continue to carry out teaching research.
