| "I like history,but I don’t know how to learn it well",which is a common perplexity of seventh grade students facing the history of new subjects.The first grade is a new learning stage for students,and it is also an important turning point for students.For the first grade students in the vast rural areas,they are faced with not only the increase of learning subjects and the change of teachers’ teaching methods,but also the change of parents’ requirements and the increase of school study time,which will bring some influences to students.The seventh-grade students in township middle schools have just entered a new stage,many of them still retain the study habits in primary school,lack initiative and independent thinking ability,and wait for the teacher’s indoctrination.In addition,they are not good at summing up and inducing learning methods,which leads to the students’ inability to keep up with the study of new subjects,resulting in the problems of being uninterested in history,not learning history and poor historical achievements.Therefore,it is of positive significance for the new curriculum reform under the general environment,especially for the unified compilation of new history textbooks,to study the adaptability of junior high school students in villages and towns.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature,comparison,case study,questionnaire and statistical analysis,and selects Zheng Shan School in Guang ’an District,Guang ’an City,Sichuan Province,Jinghe Junior High School as the research object,investigates the adaptation of the seventh grade history study,sums up the previous research results,and expects to find ways to improve the adaptability of the first grade students in township middle schools,so as to help them learn history and improve the quality of history teaching.Through questionnaire survey and experimental teaching research,it is found that these junior high school students have poor learning adaptability,which is due to the objective factors of the current educational situation of township middle schools and the influence of teachers and students in the teaching process.First of all,the quality of students in township middle schools is poor,and many students are not interested in learning and have not mastered learning methods,which makes it difficult to improve their learning.In addition,the school funds are scarce,and the teaching quality in township schools is generally low.Secondly,from the aspect of teachers,old teachers’ teaching methods failed to keep pace with the times,young teachers were strong in theory but insufficient in practice,excellent teachers were reluctant to stay in villages and towns to teach,and many history teachers were held by non-professional teachers.Many factors seriously affected the adaptability of junior high school students to history learning.Finally,from the students’ point of view,the maladjustment of their learning state,the formation of a correct learning concept,the lack of firm will to learn and the lack of effective learning methods have affected their adaptability to history learning.In view of these situations,the author also gives some suggestions: 1.Create a good environment for learning history.Let students in villages and towns have more opportunities to visit and immerse themselves in history and culture,and create an educational environment for on-the-spot experience,so as to help them generate interest and motivation in history learning.2.Increase capital investment in township schools.3.Improve the current situation of poor quality of students.Township schools improve the teaching environment,and realize the establishment of an effective communication mechanism between urban and rural teachers,so as to realize the exchange of teaching between urban and rural teachers,and increase the subsidies of township schools to excellent students,thus improving the teaching quality of township schools.4.Promote the correct reading concept.Media and public figures should publicize correct values,so that parents can understand that reading is not only for making money,and students can understand the significance of reading and clarify their own responsibilities and missions.In the process of history teaching,teachers also pay attention to the cultivation of students’ feelings of home and country.5.Instruct students to form correct historical learning methods.By linking "point" with "line",we will teach students to use mind maps,master the historical development context,and construct students’ concept of time and space in history learning,so that they can adapt to history learning as soon as possible in the first stage. |
