The Chinese skimming text teaching of primary schools has a unique position and function in the Chinese reading teaching of primary school.The "Standard" clearly defines "intensive reading,skimming and browsing" as reading methods and requires students to master them,the purpose of browsing is to quickly locate the basic information in the text;the purpose of skimming is to grasp the basic information in the text;the purpose of intensive reading is to analyze the details and obtain a complete understanding of the text.Skimming is an intermediate bridge from communication and browsing to intensive reading,the three reading methods can be used independently or in a group to complement each other.However,many front-line teachers spend a lot of time and experience in the teaching of intensive reading texts for the needs of students' exams,the preparation of the skimmed texts showed randomness or even no preparation,as everyone knows,cultivating students to have good skimming methods is also an important measure to improve their reading ability,reading ability has an irreplaceable position in language ability.At present,there are not many researches on "skimming text teaching",based on the research results of others,this research explores the necessity of emphasizing "skimming text teaching" from both the theoretical and practical levels,and finds out six teaching types based on the analysis of the skimming texts,and proposes three teaching strategies to make it is more targeted,and apply them to teaching practice to test the effectiveness of the strategies,summarize experience and put forward requirements for the use of teaching strategies.This research is roughly divided into four parts.The first part is the theoretical basis,which mainly discusses the reasons and significance of studying skimming text teaching in the middle section of primary schools;literature research on "skimming teaching" at home and abroad;definition of research content and core concepts;research methods used:literature research,classroom observation(two representative classroom teaching records are attached)and case analysis;and the support of four theories.The second is to skim the teaching type part of the text,take the concrete analysis of the content of Chinese skimming texts in the middle grade of elementary school as an example,starting from the teaching goal,the 28 skimmed texts in the four volumes are classified into teaching types,there are six types,namely:emotional experience type;imagination type;method mastering type,opinion exchange type;problem solving type and word understanding and application type.The third is the teaching strategy and case analysis part,analyze corresponding teaching strategies according to types,among them,the emotional experience type corresponds to the reading and perceptual teaching strategy,and the emotions of the article are realized in repeated reading and various readings;the imaginative type,the exchange of views and the problem-solving type correspond to the interactive discussion teaching strategy,and the gradual exercise in condensing problems and expanding thinking expression ability;mastering method type and word-sentence comprehension and application type corresponding to consolidating practice teaching strategy,strengthening reading training in focusing on key points,consolidating and transferring,and combining 16 skimming texts in classroom teaching records for case analysis,applying theory for practical operation.The fourth is the requirement part of teaching skimming text,according to the previous practical case,from the flexible use of teaching strategies;relaxation and relaxation;full use of teaching resources these three aspects are required.
