Career planning education runs through one's life,is closely related to the future growth of students,and affects students' outlook on the world,values and life.It improves students' awareness and ability of career planning by guiding students to know themselves and the society,plan their studies and explore their profession.The curriculum of "The Ethics and Rule of Law" bears the important task of establishing morality and cultivating people.It is of great significance to cultivate students' awareness and ability of career planning.Of course,it's also an important way for students to know themselves and the society.In general,the curriculum of "Ethics and Rule of Law" in junior high schools is closely related to career planning education in terms of educational philosophy,goals,content and functions.Carrying out career planning education in the teaching of "Ethics and Rule of Law" in junior high schools can implement their curriculum objectives,improve students' awareness and ability of career planning.Therefore,the research is based on the teaching of "Ethics and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools to study career planning education.It expounds the feasibility of carrying out career planning education in the teaching of "Ethics and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools from three aspects: the requirements of the "Ethics and the Rule of Law" curriculum standards,the content of career planning education in the textbooks and the career development needs of junior high school students.Subsequently,the research analyzes the teaching of "Ethics and the Rule of Law" in the junior high school through document analysis,case analysis and interview method in the third chapter to study the current situation.On the one hand,the achievements can be mainly divided into:the content of career planning education in the curriculum standards and textbooks,the support and help provided by schools for career planning education and teachers' attention on career planning education all had increased,and the students' self-recognition abilities had been improved.On the other hand,the research analyzes the existing problems from the perspectives of teachers and students: on the part of teachers,the career guidance goals that they designed was separated from the needs of students,the content of career planning education in the textbooks was excavated insufficiently,and the teaching methods that they used ignored students' autonomy.On the part of students,they didn't effectively implement their academic planning,nor did they pay enough attention to career planning.Based on these practical problems,the author conducts research and analyzes the main reasons.From the perspective of improving teaching quality,the research combine teaching cases and interview materials to propose suggestions from five aspects to promote the development of career planning education in the teaching of "Ethics and the Rule of Law" in junior high schools: teachers must improve the quality of career planning education effectively,design education goals carefully for career planning,dig into the content of career planning education,optimize teaching strategies effectively of career planning,and complete the evaluation system of career planning education.
