The issuance of the General Senior High School Biology Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)indicates that senior high school biology teaching in China has entered a new stage dominated by core literacy.The teaching reform of "deep learning" takes students' learning as the core,studies and solves the core problems in current classroom teaching,so as to achieve the goal of comprehensively improving the overall quality and level of basic education classroom teaching and developing students' core literacy.The history of biological science contains a large number of teaching materials,such as the process of scientists exploring scientific knowledge,the basic methods of scientific inquiry,the spirit of scientific inquiry and scientific thinking paradigm,which is a science full of wisdom.At this stage,there are few practical researches on the deep learning of the history of Biological Science in senior high school to promote the cultivation of students' scientific inquiry ability.Based on this,this study through the analysis of teaching materials and college entrance examination questions to understand the status and teaching status of the current history of biological science and scientific inquiry.Then,taking two parallel classes of a high school in Changsha as the research object,the teaching of history of biological science based on deep learning was carried out,and the development of students' scientific inquiry ability was analyzed by self-made scientific inquiry ability test.The conclusions are as follows:1.The history of biological science is one of the important contents of high school biology textbooks.Both the 2004 and 2019 versions of the compulsory textbooks of human education focus on making students understand the history of biological science through various forms.Among them,the second compulsory textbook is the most prominent,and most of the contents about the history of science are presented in the form of the text of the textbook,so as to directly guide students to understand the formation process of biological science knowledge,construct important concepts,and develop the subject Learning thinking and cultivating scientific inquiry ability.The textbook also designs a variety of inquiry experiments to increase the opportunities for students to do experiments and experience scientific inquiry,and cultivate independent learners and thinkers in practice.Inquiry experiment is highly related to the history of science,and it is also an important resource to cultivate students' scientific inquiry ability.2.Through statistical analysis of the examination of the history of Biological Science in the new curriculum standard papers of biology college entrance examination from 2016 to 2020,it is found that there is at least one question related to the history of Biological Science in the curriculum standard papers every year,and there are questions related to the history of Biological Science in each set of curriculum standard papers in some years.The content of the history of Biological Science in the form of multiple-choice questions is more extensive,focusing on the examination of the basic concept of life.The content of the history of Biological Science in the form of non multiple-choice questions is relatively fixed,and most of them are the comprehensive application of the history of science and scientific inquiry ability.Statistical analysis of the recent five years biology college entrance examination new curriculum standard paper non choice examination found that: scientific inquiry ability is a necessary test point,each year three sets of curriculum standard paper at least two related questions,and the proportion of the score is high,about6-10 points.Test questions focus on students' ability of experimental design and analysis.The questions have certain difficulty,and often become the key questions to open the gap between students' scores and improve the discrimination of test questions.3.Compared with the traditional teaching,the use of deep learning theory to guide the history of biological science classroom teaching has a certain role in promoting the overall performance of students.4.Using deep learning to teach the history of biological science can significantly promote the cultivation of students' lower level scientific inquiry ability in the experimental class,but there is no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the effect of higher level scientific inquiry ability cultivation,which indicates that the improvement of scientific inquiry ability needs continuous investment,attention and training,and can not pass the test The short-term teaching training makes students' scientific inquiry literacy reach a higher level.
