In the new round of curriculum reform,the high school mathematics class needs to satisfy students’ basic learning needs.On the one hand,it makes students’ learning more efficient.On the other hand,it is necessary to retain students and attract students,so that the existence of high school Ideological and Political Education is necessary and irreplaceable.However,in the traditional teaching mode,the teaching method is single and solidified,which is difficult to adapt to the needs of students’ development and is not attractive to students.At the same time,it pays too much attention to the examination results,and the final evaluation of the examination is used to check and accept students’ grasp.In this teaching mode,students are easy to be guided by the solidified thinking,attach too much importance to the results and blindly pursue high scores.The blind pursuit of high scores ignores the understanding and expansion of knowledge itself,which is disadvantageous to the cultivation of students’ core literacy,the improvement of autonomous learning,cooperative learning and inquiry learning ability.Students’ lack of practical feeling in the Ideological and Political Education experience makes the course not attractive enough for students,participation is not strong,the classroom lacks of vitality.The "five-step teaching method" in this paper covers five links,namely independent learning,cooperation and communication,demonstration and exploration,intensive instruction and reinforcement.Teachers can flexibly use five links according to the specific learning situation and teaching content.Under the guidance of the main idea of "five step teaching method",they can play freely,strive to form an active classroom atmosphere,let students participate in classroom teaching and become the master of the classroom.This study takes six classes of students from three different sections of grade one in Puyang No.1 Senior Middle School as the research object,and studies the improvement effect of students’ independent learning,cooperation and communication,demonstration and exploration,learning habits,learning methods,and academic performance before and after the implementation of the five-step teaching method.The research content of this paper is divided into four parts.The introduction describes the reasons,significance,research status and research methods at home and abroad.The second part mainly describes the theoretical basis and connotation of the "five step teaching method",expounds the implementation process of the "five step teaching method" in detail,and analyzes the specific implementation cases.The third part is about the application and effect of "five step teaching method" in senior high school mathematics class.In the form of questionnaire,it is divided into pre-test and post-test,which is verified by the pre-test and post-test of students’ performance.Finally,the application effect of the "five step teaching method" is analyzed,and the problems and reasons in the application process are further analyzed.The fourth part analyzes the countermeasures and suggestions for the problems and the causes of the problems in the implementation of the "five step teaching method",and expounds the shortcomings and prospects of this research.By investigating and analyzing the data before and after the implementation of the "five step teaching method" in the research process,we understand the following situation.Through the application and implementation of the "five step teaching method",students’ cognitive level and participation ability in autonomous learning,cooperative communication,display and exploration,learning habits and learning methods have been improved,and students’ participation in the classroom is higher and more participatory than before.In the pre-test and post-test analysis of the grades of Pearl class and ordinary class,according to the independent sample t-test results,it is concluded that there are significant differences between the students before and after the implementation of the "five step teaching method",which further verifies the application effect of the "five step teaching method".However,there are still some deficiencies in this paper,such as the relatively small number of students,the short practice time,the poor performance of the borrowing class,and so on.This paper puts forward the prospect of further research in the future work and research.
