With the rapid development of science and technology today,the amount of knowledge is huge and unfathomable.The knowledge and skills required by various professions are no longer as limited as in the past.The knowledge learned in school alone can no longer meet the challenges of the new century.For better Life-long learning is imperative for the survival and realization of the value of life.A person's self-learning ability directly affects the degree and effect of his lifelong learning.After leaving the campus environment,people who have strong self-learning ability will have greater competitiveness and potential,and can achieve better development.Otherwise,they can only stop,mediocre life.In the process of basic education and teaching reform,high school education are directly connected to university education.The learning style of high school has a very significant impact on a person's future,and it is directly related to his potential for upward development.A good learning style can make him in the future go further,wider,and higher on the way.Chemistry is an important subject in high school curriculum learning,and it plays an important role in the growth of students.Chemistry is a subject closely related to life.In chemistry teaching,cultivating students' autonomous learning ability can more internalize this as a personal intrinsic.Therefore,to investigate the autonomous learning ability of high school students in chemistry,find suitable autonomous learning ability training strategies based on the survey results,and improve the current learning situation of students in a timely manner,which has certain practical guiding significance for improving students' learning effectiveness and cultivating core literacy.By consulting relevant literature,this paper analyzes and summarizes the meaning and characteristics of autonomous learning,the theoretical basis of cultivating autonomous learning ability,and expounds the significance of cultivating autonomous learning ability in senior high school chemistry learning and life growth.Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis of senior high school students' chemistry autonomous learning ability,the reason for the enhancement of senior high school students' chemistry learning initiative is mainly due to the long-term impact of exam oriented education and driven by the desire to "get into a good university",rather than the learning motivation inspired by the love of chemistry,improving self-worth through learning chemistry and having a high sense of social responsibility.Teachers pay attention to the teaching content in teaching methods,and need to be improved in guiding students' autonomous learning.Parents' concern and correct guidance for their children's learning are not universal enough,and students' motivation for autonomous learning is insufficient.On the whole,high school students are adolescent children with heavy playfulness,lack of learning motivation and lack of self-management ability.Most of them do not form the habit of active and autonomous learning,and lack basic autonomous learning methods in learning.Through reading related literature,it is found that more articles focus on the theoretical research on the strategies of autonomous learning training,while the research on methods and strategies for improving students' autonomous learning ability is relatively vague.Therefore,based on the content of the textbook,the author puts forward a method and strategy of "pre-class preview,in-class exploration,and after-class review" for autonomous learning.The article cites relevant practical teaching measures to cultivate students' awareness of autonomous learning,help students establish good learning motivation and cultivate students' interest in autonomous learning from the aspects of pre class preview,in class exploration and after class review.Teaching practice shows that students' autonomous learning ability has been improved to a certain extent.The deficiency is that the author's teaching practice time is not long,and there are still many immature places,which need to be further explored.
