The rule of law is a sign of social progress and a basic guarantee for the healthy and prosperous development of a country.People always say,"the rule of law is strong,and the country is strong." At the moment when the socialist modernization is comprehensively promoted,the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Party put forward the basic strategy of "comprehensively promote the rule of law." Constitutional education plays an important role in contemporary legal education.After all,governing the country according to the constitution is the key essence of governing the country according to law.The Syllabus for Youth Rule of Law Education further clarifies that the constitutional education should be the core of youth rule of law education,and the cultivation of constitutional awareness should be penetrated into the entire education process.Teenagers are the future and the hope of the nation.The importance of constitutional education must be done well.However,the current constitutional education for young people has not achieved the desired effect.Some young people have poor constitutional knowledge,relatively weak constitutional awareness,and relatively indifferent constitutional feelings.They do not know the law,and do not know how to use the law.In recent years,young people have committed crimes.And the cases of being violated are also increasing.Therefore,as the main front for junior high school students to conduct constitutional education,how to make the teaching of the Morality and the Rule of law in junior high schools be effective is particularly important.However,in actual teaching,middle school teachers are very confused about how to improve the effectiveness of constitutional education in the teaching of this class.Therefore,this paper upholds the principle of seeking truth from facts,using questionnaire surveys,teacher interviews and other methods to analyze the status quo of constitutional education in the real teaching classes in junior high schools.What'more,it also summarizes the current problems of constitutional education and the cause of the problems.Furthermore,this paper focuses on exploring teaching strategies to promote the teaching of Morality and the rule of law in junior high schools to improve the effectiveness of constitutional education.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is introduction.It presents the background and significance of the research.The literature review part describes the current situation research of constitutional education for junior middle school students at home and abroad.Based on the sorting and strategy research,the research methods are presented.Finally,the thesis introduces the major points,innovations and difficulties of the research.The second part is an overview of constitutional education in the teaching of morality and the rule of law in junior middle school.Firstly,it figures out the connotation of constitutional education and then discusses the main content,significance of constitutional education.The part 3 studies the status quo and the constitutional education in the teaching classes in junior middle school.The survey results mainly involve the teacher interview survey and questionnaire.The current situation analysis focuses on the problems and achievements of constitutional education.The fourth part analyzes the reasons for the problems of constitutional education in the teaching of morality and the rule of law in junior middle school.It mainly includes five aspects: the teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching forms,teachers and students themselves.The fifth part puts forward the promotion strategy of constitutional education in the teaching of morality and the rule of law in junior middle school.The promotion strategy puts forward the implementation strategy according to the teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching forms,teachers' reasons and students' own five aspects of constitutional education discussed in the fourth part.The part 6 is the acknowledgement,references and conclusion,summarizing the results of this research and expectations for the follow-up research.
