All along,China has been committed to the long-term goal of building itself into a talented country and an innovative country,and the realization of the goal ultimately depends on talents.As the main position of talent training,the establishment of education and teaching objectives and the improvement of teaching methods should focus on the cultivation of students' innovative thinking ability.The cultivation of innovative thinking ability is inseparable from the training of higher-order thinking ability.Task-based teaching can not only stimulate students' thinking vitality,but also promote the development of students' higher-order thinking ability.However,there is no relevant research on cultivating students' higher-order thinking ability based on task-based teaching in the field of biology teaching in middle schools at present.Therefore,this paper carries out a practical research on cultivating students' higher-order thinking ability based on task-based teaching.The main results are as follows:1.Firstly,this study investigates the development status of higher order thinking ability of junior high school students by means of questionnaire survey,which is designed from three dimensions of analytical thinking ability,evaluation thinking ability and creative thinking ability.The results show that most junior high school students' analytical thinking ability is weak,the understanding of the problem often stays at the superficial level,lack of in-depth analysis of the problem thinking;Some junior high school students evaluation thinking ability has not been effective development of the question and critical ability is insufficient;The creative thinking ability of junior high school students has not been fully and effectively developed.Through interviews with teachers,teachers agreed that the higher order thinking ability of middle school students needs to be improved and developed.2.Secondly,this study constructs a teaching model based on task-based teaching to cultivate students' higher-order thinking ability.Through the front-end analysis of teaching materials and learning situation,the entry point and goal of higher-order thinking ability are sorted out;Design analytical,evaluative and creative teaching tasks according to teaching objectives,in the teaching process,students are guided to improve higher-order thinking ability to actively use the thinking process of "analysis","evaluation" and "innovation" to complete various teaching tasks;Make a diversified evaluation of students' task completion results and process.3.Finally,this study carries out a practical research on the cultivation of higher-order thinking ability based on task-based teaching in two classes of a middle school in Urumqi.The author uses task-based teaching mode to teach the experimental class,while another teacher uses traditional teaching mode to teach the control class.The development of students' higher-order thinking ability was subjectively and objectively evaluated through the self-assessment questionnaire and test questions.The results of the self-assessment questionnaire showed that the number of students in the middle and high score section of the "analysis dimension" increased by20.86% and 18.77 respectively.The number of students with medium and high scores in "evaluation dimension" increased by 9.38% and 9.57% respectively.The number of students in the middle and high scores of creativity increased by 18.06% and 11.06%,respectively.The test results show that: There is no significant difference between the pre-test experimental class and the control class in the three dimensions of analytical thinking ability,evaluation thinking ability and creative thinking ability.The post-test experimental class scored 1.85 points(P =0.005),1.26points(P =0.001)and 3.11 points(P =0.033)higher than the control class in analytical thinking ability,evaluation thinking ability and creative thinking ability,respectively.This study shows that task-based teaching can effectively improve students' higher-order thinking ability.The results of this study enrich the teaching methods and methods to cultivate higher-order thinking ability,and provide a practical reference for middle school teachers to cultivate higher-order thinking ability based on task-based teaching.
