The classic literary masterpieces are exemplary works of both literary quality and beauty that have been tested and precipitated by history,themselves contain the value of thinking skills' training.“Guidance reading for the classic literary masterpieces” segment focuses on the two-way linkage of reading inside and outside the text and other layout features,also contribute to cultivating students' higher order thinking skills such as migration,integration and comparison,these skills are exactly the key abilities that learners must possess to adapt to the survival and development of the new era.However,the guidance teaching of reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces permeated with the training of higher order thinking skills,still wandered in recognition,understanding and other low-level.The essay was based on the hierarchical division of higher order thinking skills by Bloom and others,combined with the characteristics of the teaching of reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces,the core elements of higher order thinking skills are divided into three major capabilities: analysis and integration,comparison and evaluation,transfer and creation and a specific analysis was carried out,and clarified the essential characteristics of higher order thinking skills,also discerned the differences from other thinking skills,then explored how to cultivate students' higher order thinking skills in the teaching of Junior Chinese reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces.The essay firstly used the questionnaire survey method,coupling with classroom observations during the internship,derived the reality dilemma of cultivating higher order thinking skills in the current teaching of reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces.Most teachers and students lacked the awareness to cultivate higher order thinking skills,and were limited by teaching tasks or learning pressures,led to a serious tendency to “utilitarian” reading and the phenomenon of “superficial” reading.As a result,reading ability and thinking ability were not improved.Secondly,for these problems,the essay was based on Piaget's theory of cognitive development and other three theories,explored the feasibility of the teaching of reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces to cultivate higher order thinking skills,it was believed that cultivating higher order thinking skills is an inevitable way to improve the teaching of Junior Chinese reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces.Then,on the dual basis of questionnaire data and theoretical basis,the training strategies for cultivating higher order thinking skills were proposed,included teaching methods such as creating situations,designing problems,and building scaffolding,and fully excavate the connections between famous works to establish a network of text structures,to carry out a variety of reading activities such as theme reading and comparative reading.Meanwhile,we pay attention to the real evaluation of students' thinking ability in the reading process,aiming to effectively cultivate students' higher order thinking skills and improve the current situation of the teaching of reading guidance for the classic literary masterpieces,and hope that it can provide some reference value for front-line teaching practice.At last,the guided teaching of Journey to the West by Wang Songzhou was selected as a teaching case to analyze,and the teaching design of Camel Xiangzi by Lao She,to better illustrated how to use the strategies provided in the introduction of famous works to cultivate students' higher order thinking skills.
