“Outline of National Medium-and-Long-Term Program for Education Reform and Development2020-2035” clearly states that teachers are the foundation for all the great educational projects.In other words,teachers are the key to the successful education.Twenty-first Century is an era of lifelong education.An integrated teacher education consisting of pre-service education,inductive education and in-service education,therefore,should be ensured when we build a professional teacher team of high quality.Private senior schools as a significant part of national high school education must highly value the teacher inductive education during teachers' cultivation in terms of lifelong education.As a matter of fact,teachers in induction period face rather difficult and complicated challenges.They are in a key phase of teacher professional development process in which sound and systematic guide are badly needed.A well designed teacher inductive education system can promote teachers to adapt the role of being qualified ones..Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the current realistic problems of teacher inductive education in private senior schools,on the base of life long and other teacher professional development theories,come up with the methods of promoting inductive education,which will effectively help initial teachers get ready for teaching both technically and mentally.The study finds that the teacher inductive education system in China develops slowly and is not yet sound,especially in private senior schools.Most private senior schools don't take teacher inductive education seriously.The induction education mainly focuses on teaching skills training and has no long term plans.The current teacher induction education in private high school is less well designed in content,arrangement and training formation.This paper takes Xinzheng W high school in which I worked as the research object,applying a semi-open interview method.Through deep interviews with 12 initial teachers of Xinzheng W high school,the author aims to exploring what inductive education initial teacher really need and how they feel about the inductive education they already have in Xinzheng W high school.From the data analysis,the paper releases the current situation and problems of teacher inductive education in Xinzheng W high school and try to put forward corresponding suggestion and strategies.
