Teaching materials are an important vehicle for carrying out teaching activities,the basis for teachers to implement education and the resources of students to master knowledge all have a direct impact on the quality of education.In education reform,textbook reform has always been the focus of attention,through the adjustment of textbooks in order to improve the quality of talent training.From the autumn semester of 2020,the first grade of primary schools in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for ethnic language instruction will start to use the unified language textbooks and teach in the common national language.As language teachers in ethnic language teaching schools have been using the unified textbooks for a relatively short period of time,problems are inevitable in their use.A study of the current situation of teachers' use of the unified textbooks is conducive to identifying common problems,solving existing difficulties,improving the appropriateness of teachers and the unified textbooks,and better utilising the value of the unified textbooks.Based on this,this thesis compares the philosophy and characteristics of the unified textbooks for primary school language by studying the relevant literature;by reviewing the relevant policies,it understands the implementation plan of the unified textbooks for three subjects in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,etc.On this basis,questionnaires were designed from three dimensions,supplemented by more specific interviews.With the opportunity of the educational internship,a school for teaching ethnic languages was selected,taking Primary School Y in Erdos as an example,and a series of surveys were conducted in practice to address the teachers' situation regarding the use of the unified textbooks.The details are as follows.Firstly,the research shows that there are some problems in teachers' use of textbooks,for example,teachers' lack of understanding of the methods used to implement the concepts of the articles and teachers' lack of grasp of the important and difficult points of the teaching materials.Secondly,the reasons for teachers' problems in using teaching materials were analysed in relation to a number of aspects,such as:teachers' own specialisms,the difficulty of teaching materials not matching teachers' knowledge reserves,and the difficulty of grasping important and difficult points as the amount of teaching content increases.Finally,suggestions are put forward in the three areas of teachers,schools and education management.
