September 2014,the State Council issues the Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of Examination and Enrollment System,which kicks off the reform known as the new college entrance examination.The Physics Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017)mentions,as a matter of principle,that the educators shall persist in reflecting the demand of the times,paying attention to the individualized and diversified learning and developing needs of students,improving their comprehensive ability and cultivating their key competence.Therefore,the curriculum of senior high schools shall be consistent with the principles of education and the law of students' somatopsychic development,docking with the students' thought,learning and life,as well as fully reflecting their growth needs.As a result,it is particularly important to implement the layered homework scheme when it comes to fully satisfying the individualized needs.Firstly,on the backdrop of the new curriculum reform,the characteristics of high school physics and the drawbacks of current uniform homework scheme,the paper analyzes the domestic and international studies on the layered homework scheme.It also clarifies the concept of layered homework scheme for high school physics and set forth the content of new college entrance examination reform.Based on the relevant theories,such as "teaching according to the individual's ability","proximal development zone","expected value" and "core literacy",a questionnaire survey,together with the teacher interviews,is conducted on the implementation of layered homework scheme in high schools.The questionnaire survey unfolds from five perspectives: 1)the perceptions of homework;2)the perceptions of the amount of homework;3)the perceptions of the difficulty of homework;4)the perceptions of the structure and content of homework;and5)the perceptions of the relevance and effectiveness of homework.The teacher interviews are conducted from three dimensions: 1)the teachers' attitudes toward homework;2)the assignment of homework;and 3)the role of homework in improving core literacy.After scrutinizing the acquired data,the principles of implementing the layered homework scheme are proposed.Taking consideration of the three elements of layered homework scheme,namely the textbook analysis,the learning situation analysis as well as the two-way specification table,the paper proposes a design for the layered homework scheme in high schools.It also reflects on the implementation of the scheme and sums up the experience and deficiencies.By implementing the layered homework scheme,the teachers will fully recognize and respect the diversity among the students,giving out layered homework according to the individual characteristics to maximize the development of each student;by stimulating the learning enthusiasm and raising the competition consciousness of the entire students,it will promote their common progress and strengthen their comprehensive quality.
