The new curriculum reform requires that education should pay attention to students' personality development.Teachers should adopt different teaching strategies according to students' different characteristics and pay attention to teaching students according to their aptitude.However,at present,most teachers ignore the gender differences of students in the process of geography teaching.Carrying out the research on the influencing factors and Countermeasures of junior middle school students' Geography Learning Based on gender differences will help teachers clarify the factors affecting junior middle school male and female students' geography learning,carry out "gender based teaching",improve students' geography learning effect,improve geography teaching theory and improve geography teaching level.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research on gender differences in students' learning at home and abroad,and expounds the relevant concepts and theoretical basis.Then,it investigates the geography learning status of male and female junior middle school students from three aspects: individual,environment and behavior.Then on this basis,the binary logistic regression analysis model is used to analyze the factors affecting junior middle school male and female students' geography learning.Finally,this paper puts forward the corresponding teaching countermeasures based on the current situation and influencing factors of geography learning of male and female junior middle school students.The specific research conclusions are as follows:First,there are obvious gender differences between boys and girls in junior middle school in geography learning.These differences are reflected in the relationship between geography learning style and geography and daily life.For example,in daily life,boys' attention and sensitivity to daily geographical things are generally better than girls.In the interest of learning geography,boys are more interested in geography than girls,but boys' interest shows a polarization trend.In the application degree of geographical knowledge,the influence of boys' geographical learning ability on the application degree of geographical knowledge is also higher than that of girls.Second,the factors affecting junior middle school boys and girls' geography learning are obviously different.Learning motivation,learning methods,learning interest,learning ability,number of trips,parents' education and geography teaching mode have a positive impact on boys' geography learning effect.Learning self-confidence,learning attitude,annual family income and employment direction have a positive impact on girls' geography learning effect.Thirdly,according to the current situation and influencing factors of geography learning of male and female junior middle school students,the following teaching countermeasures are put forward.Geography Teaching Countermeasures for junior middle school boys: improve boys' geography learning motivation;Guide boys to adopt diversified geography learning methods;Stimulate boys' interest in geography learning;Improve the geography teaching mode of the class;Help boys strengthen the connection with real life in the process of geography learning.Geography Teaching Countermeasures for junior middle school girls: help girls correct their geography learning attitude;Guide girls to correctly eliminate bad emotions in learning;Cultivate girls' self-confidence in geography learning;Help girls clarify the direction of employment;Strengthen home school cooperation and actively pay attention to girls' geography learning.
