Since ancient times, Educator emphasizes that teaching should reaching the accordance with student’s aptitude, and adopt different methods according to the specific differences of students. And in the new curriculum reform, but also a requirement to education to individual differences of students injection. In the modernization process of education, we need to achieve the important goal of education equality which needs teachers to carry out different teaching method in the premise to recognize the individual differences of every student. However, specific education about caring each student’s difference is difficult to implement, but the students into the teaching differences between male and female two groups the commonness is within the operating range.But in the actual teaching processes, many educators is failed to realize the goal because of the lack of gender differences in corresponding view. Exploring this topic helps a lot to enrich the theory of education on gender difference, and to practice guidance for educators, to carry out the education teaching idea, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude really, in order to promote common development of male and female students.I searched the paper through the domestic and foreign literature review and finish this paper. The conclusion shows men and women in their logic, dialectical thinking and other aspects of the characteristics, but for academic achievement level has no clear conclusion overall. But in learning geography, gender differences between male and female students were confirmed to be the objective existence, and specific to the large difference in perception, memory, attention, thinking ability and geographical interest in respect of male and female students. Then I used spss on the comparative analysis on the basis of the existing research about Chenggu NO.lhigh school in Hanzhong city of Shaanxi Province, before testing I carried a simulation the test scores in order to ensure the rationality of subjects of normal distribution of samples that include the proportion of men and women and test scores. The analysis results show that boys in the examination get high score than the girls’ results no matter on the total score, objective question or subjective question, Probability obtained by independent samples’ test were respectively be 0.008,0.005 and 0.013, were less than 0.05, This proves that male and female students in the geography exam achievement has significant difference. Finally, through the questionnaire survey method to male and female geography basic learning assessment of the situation, the results has showed that the two groups all have different views on knowledge, on the subject of geography preferences, learning habit, learning method. Among this boys have more interest in geography than girls, they can grasp the appropriate learning method, but in learning habits they have less hard working and serious lack of concentration.In recognition of male and female after the learning difference of geography we influence factors on formed was explored, mainly on the physiological and the school factors of these two aspects. Congenital factors we can’t decide, but school education curriculum closely related factors can be changed. This paper took a lot of space tries to probe into the countermeasures to reduce gender differences in learning geography, geography teacher’s perceptions, teaching target establishment, the choice of teaching content, teaching means and teaching evaluation way take several aspects of the corresponding countermeasures.Education is an important way to promote the progress and development of human. As educators, we should pay special attention to students’ subjectivity in teaching progress, to investigate the developmental characteristics of students, and give full play to the subjective initiative of students. We should also consider the characteristics of the personality, to improve geography teaching, and pay attention to the gender differences in order to abandon the gender stereotypes, gender differences in the practice of geography teaching, the strategies to guide students to play their respective advantages, to achieve a consistent level of development.
