The essence of quality education is how to promote the development of students and meet the learning needs of them. It requires geography teachers to take a targeted teaching strategies according to the different characteristics of each student, and striving to pursue the method of "Teaching According to Students Aptitude". In practice, most of the geography teachers only pay attention to the students' individual differences, and ignore the sex differences. In fact, gender differences is the most basic differences between students. Studies have shown that gender differences exist in both genetic gene and future growth. So, geography teaching strategy in high school which based on gender differences research is worth our attention.The research on gender differences have some foundation in our country, but its still has some deficiences when it come down to the specific subjects. The level of sex differences research in geography subject is still in the exploratory stage.The research on gender differences have great significance on carry out the concept of new curriculum, and carry out their aptitude theory, and improve teaching standard.This paper, with the title of " high school geography teaching strategy research which based on sexual distinction". Reviewed the literature both at home and abroad about gender differences research firstly, and then consider internships to investigating the sex differences between boys and girls in high school geography learning. Based on the investigation, proceeding the causes analysis of the gender difference of high school geography learning. And some countermeasures are proposed. Accomplished some case designing according to the geography teaching materials.Paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is introduction. Mainly introduces the research background, research purpose and meaning, research methods and research status. Discuss the development trend of gender difference at home and abroad.The second chapter is theoretical basis. Introduced the concept of gender differences and the theoreticla basis of sex differences which including gender differences in psychological theory and gender differences of pedagogy theory.The third chapter is gender differences of present high school geography study situation. Determine the investigation object, survey method and investigation procedure. Formulate the questionnaire, and questionnairing high school geography teachers and students respectively. Analyzing the survey data, and then come to a conclusion.The fourth chapter is the causes analysis of the gender difference of high school geography learning. Study found that the cause of gender differences are various, which included genetic, physiological and psychological development. It also including other factors, such as family, society and education.The fifth chapter is some counter measures and case designing of the gender difference of high school geography learning. Put forward the following teaching strategies: teachers should get rid of gender stereotypes, and set up the correct view of gender; Arrange the teaching content reasonably; Strengthen the girl's geography learning motivation, improve their geography learning ability; Stay focus on boys education, realize the fairness of education. Accomplished some case designing according to the geography teaching materials.
