With the introduction of the new curriculum standard of senior high school physics in 2017 edition(revised in 2020)and the proposal of the core literacy goals of physics,the People Education Press(PEP)compiled the new senior high school physics textbook in 2019 edition.In this context,it is necessary to conduct a timely comparative study on the PEP version of the new and old senior high school physics textbooks.Due to the large amount of content,wide range of topics and limited time of personal research,a representative chapter “Gravitation and Space Navigation” is specially selected for in-depth comparative analysis in this textbook research.We can see the whole picture by looking at one spot,and clearly understand the new changes of the new teaching materials,which will provide some reference value for teachers and students in senior high school to better understand and use the textbook.This research mainly includes the following main contents:First of all,the new and old curriculum standards,and new and old textbooks are comprehensively combed based on the literature review.And the content,methods and ideas of this paper are clarified.Besides,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the new and old teaching materials of “Gravitation and Space Navigation” are conducted,focusing on one-to-one comparative research from six aspects: structures,content,illustration,exercises,layout design,and moral education elements.In addition,a comprehensive summary of the comparison results is made,and the main conclusions are as follows:(1)The new textbooks are more humane on the content(2)The new textbooks are more enlightening and guiding in the process of development(3)The new textbooks display the characteristics of times on the creation of situation(4)The new textbooks are more selective on exercise arrangements(5)The new textbooks are more beautiful and readable in layout.Furthermore,combined with comparative conclusions and new changes in new textbooks,the relevant suggestions are proposed from three perspectives of teaching material compilation(revision),the usage of teachers and students.(1)In the compilation of textbooks(revision): some details can be further optimized to make the knowledge system more perfect,in which the corresponding two-dimensional code can be added to make the presentation more diversified.(2)In the use of teachers: teachers should pay attention to the direction of discipline core literacy,changing the teaching concept.Importance should be attached to the change of teaching material content,and teachers should analyze it carefully and grasp it accurately.(3)In the use of students: attention should be paid to the use of textbooks to lay a good foundation.What students should do is to focus on the use of exercises in teaching materials,and do not fall into the mode of questions.At last,a summary is conducted to point out the shortcomings and problems of the research.Also,plans and prospects for the follow-up research are made.
