In the current information era,talents with scientific and humanistic literacy are indispensable.The history of chemistry contains scientific epistemology as well as scientists' profound scientific spirit,scientific ideas and scientific methods,and has important nurturing value.It can well solve some problems existing in the traditional teaching of logical thinking,such as the neglect of the formation process of scientific knowledge and the lack of attention to scientific methods.However,in recent years,most of the research on the teaching of history of chemistry has stayed at the stage of value discussion and experience summary,and the related research needs to continue to be in-depth.conducting research on the teaching of history of chemistry and promoting the landing of core literacy in chemistry for secondary school students can improve the quality of chemistry teaching and implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education.The paper taked the cultivation of students' core literacy in chemistry as an entry point,described the background,current situation,significance and methods of research on the history of chemistry,traced the current situation of teaching the history of chemistry,and proposed the importance of teaching the history of chemistry in high school chemistry;through questionnaire analysis,found the shortage of cultivating students' core literacy in high school chemistry teaching and the problems that exist in history of chemistry teaching;explored the theories that support the teaching of history of chemistry.The teaching procedure and teaching strategy which accord with the characteristics of the history of chemical knowledge were constructed.Based on the teaching strategies,the initial discussion of core literacy in chemistry was conducted with examples of teaching history of chemistry.the following results were obtained:(1)teachers' attention to the core literacy of chemistry increased;(2)teachers' and students' awareness of the value of history of chemistry education increased;(3)students' development of core literacy of chemistry increased;and(4)students' knowledge of chemistry was more flexibly applied.The paper was divided into four parts.In the first part,the background,purpose,and significance of this paper's research as well as the content of the study were described.In the second part,the relevant literature at home and abroad was organized,relevant studies were followed up,and the theoretical basis and definitions of the study were clarified.In the third part,I have walked into the front line of teaching and found out the problems in teaching,constructed a teaching strategy with the characteristics of chemical history knowledge that can cultivate students' chemical core literacy.In the fourth part,based on the constructed teaching procedures and strategies of the history of chemistry,we carried out teaching practice,summarized the practice results,and obtained the conclusions of the study.Conclusions of the study: integrating history of chemistry into teaching can improve students' core literacy in chemistry;teaching history of chemistry can effectively improve classroom efficiency;teaching history of chemistry can deepen students' understanding and memory of knowledge.
