Chemistry Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,revised in 2020)changes the requirements of basic education courses from knowledge-based to quality-based,and clearly stipulates the goals and contents of education.In order to achieve the knowledge goal smoothly and cultivate the core accomplishment of chemistry,this study adopted the method of unit teaching to teach "sulfur and its compounds" to senior one students,and analyzed the teaching results after the completion of teaching.Research data show that the unit teaching method of experimental class compared with the traditional teaching method that in comparative classes,showed no obvious advantages on test scores,but the analysis of the students test papers and interview analysis show that the unit teaching method are more likely to lead students to construct learning,form a system of knowledge network,and are more likely to achieve chemical subject cultivation of the core.This study includes the following aspects:The first part,the introduction part introduces the research status of unit teaching in China,the theoretical and practical significance of unit te aching research,as well as the research content and research methods.The second part,about the core literacy and chemistry discipline cor e literacy,unit teaching and sulfur and its compounds research literature r eview,shows the necessity of this study.The third part is about the definition of core accomplishment and un it teaching of chemistry and the theoretical basis applied in this study.The fourth part explains the component and connotation of unit teac hing,and shows its value in unit teaching.The fifth part,taking sulfur and its compounds as an example,studie s the corresponding content and teaching material arrangement of the ne w curriculum standard.Based on the requirements of the core accomplish ment of chemistry discipline,the content and teaching process of this uni t are analyzed and designed,corresponding detection and data analysis ar e conducted after the teaching implementation,and finally teaching sugg estions are given.The sixth part makes an objective analysis and summary of the resul ts of this study,and makes a prospect for the future chemistry teaching b ased on this.
