As an important means of evaluating students' learning effect, examination also plays a role in stimulating students' enthusiasm for learning. Its importance in education and teaching is obvious. Therefore,in order to measure students' learning effect and stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, there must be certain requirements for the difficulty of examination questions. At present, there are many indicators for evaluating the quality of propositions, such as discrimination, reliability, validity and difficulty, and difficulty is the most important one.How to control the difficulty of the test questions scientifically and reasonably in the process of test question formulation, and to make the process of the test questions scientific, has always been the most concern of the proposition experts. At present, most of the researches on the factors affecting the difficulty of math test questions focus on a specific period of study, such as the factors affecting the difficulty of college entrance examination questions. There are not many papers that study the factors affecting the difficulty of mathematics test questions from a general point of view. Therefore, from a general perspective, studying the influencing factors and quantification methods of the difficulty of mathematics test questions will provide a certain reference value for controlling the difficulty of test questions.Starting from the knowledge examined by the test questions and the comprehensive application degree of knowledge, this paper gives the concept of the difficulty of the test questions before the test, and points out that the difficulty of the test questions before the test is the difficulty of the test content itself, that is,the inherent difficulty of the test questions. Then,it is pointed out that there are differences in the degree of influence of the same factor on the mathematics test questions of different grades.Based on the comparative analysis of the factors affecting the difficulty of mathematics test questions in different grades, this paper is based on the five factors that affect the difficulty of mathematics test questions(the number of knowledge tests, the degree of comprehensive knowledge, the degree of difficulty of mathematical operations, the familiarity of the background of the test questions, and the clarity of the conditions). They are divided into three different level values according to the different characteristics of the degree, which are taken as 1,2,and 3 according to the difficulty from low to high,as the different weight values of the level. In this paper, the reliability of the five factors that affect the difficulty of test questions and their quantification methods is tested. The fourth sub-question of the 2020 National College Entrance Examination Volume II(Science)was selected as the analysis object, and different evaluators were invited to quantitatively score each factor for this question.Through the analysis of the test results,it is shown that the division of the influencing factors and the assignment of the division results are credible in the actual analysis of the test questions.According to the above-mentioned 5 influencing factors and their quantification methods, each question is quantitatively scored at different levels of the 5 difficulty influencing factors, and the comprehensive difficulty of a single question is obtained; For the difficulty of the whole set of test questions, this paper uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to calculate the difficulty of the whole set of test questions according to the difficulty of a single test question. Finally,an empirical analysis of the method proposed in this paper is given.According to the mid-term test questions of 2021-2022,the factors that affect the difficulty of the test questions and the effectiveness of the quantitative methods are verified,it also provides some concrete and operable suggestions on how to control the difficulty of mathematics test.
