Taking Rural China for example,this paper explored the teaching of the whole book reading of academic works.The full text consists of five parts: introduction,value of the whole book reading of academic works,case analysis of teaching problems of the whole book reading of academic works,implementation suggestions and conclusion.The introduction expounds the research origin,value,status and methods.The first chapter elaborates its value on two sides: the necessity of senior high school students reading academic works and the adaptability of the whole book reading and academic works.The necessity lies in the improvement of students' psychological quality,academic attainment and cultural literacy,and the adaptability lies in good duplicate effect after the combination of "whole book" reading form and academic reading content.The second chapter refines three main problems in the teaching of the whole book reading of academic works by case study: discourse reading taking the place of the whole book reading,teachers' academic specialization seizing students' autonomy,and the absence of evaluation system,while selecting several cases for specific analysis.The third chapter puts forward a few suggestions for the implementation of the above-mentioned problems,and believes that the selected academic works should be classics with moderate difficulty and prominent Chinese characteristics.The teaching objective should be based on the instrumental value,while giving consideration to the cultural value,and the stages should be determined by the study assignments.Examples should be taken seriously,as well as letting students grasp the writing logic independently;Research writing can be the the main form of evaluation since generation is the key.The conclusion reviews the full text,reflects the shortcomings.
