"Figure and geometry",one of the important parts of junior high school mathematics curriculum,plays an important role in cultivating junior high school students' logical thinking ability,especially in the key period of the development of logical thinking ability.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the strategy of cultivating junior middle school students' logical thinking ability in the teaching of graphics and geometry.Through consulting a large number of literature,the author determined the five geometric thinking levels of Van Hill in ascending order as the theoretical basis,and investigated the logical thinking level of 253 grade 2 students in two junior middle schools in Xining city and the cultivation of students' logical thinking ability in teachers' teaching,and concluded that:(1)Most of the students' logical thinking level is at Level 2 and 3,and there are fewer students at level 1 and 5.Special attention is paid to 62% of the students at level 3 and above;(2)There is no obvious difference in the level of logical thinking between the two schools.(3)The overall logical thinking ability of male students is slightly higher than that of female students,but there is no significant difference;(4)Most teachers believe that there are many difficulties in cultivating students' logical thinking ability in teaching,but they still insist on cultivating it.The conclusion on the basis of investigation,the difficulties existing in students' study in graphics and geometric abstract,concept learning don't know why,master degree is uneven,geometric language(text language,sign language,graphic language)to master and apply there exist certain obstacles,logic reasoning,not serious problems are analyzed,Backward to teachers in teaching in the teaching idea,cultivate consciousness,teachers' geometric logic level differences,professional quality,the teaching method of the single,conservative,lack of targeted training way is too rigid,effectiveness is not strong is analyzed,finally based on the results of the analysis put forward the feasible training strategies:(1)depth mastery learning,from the perspective of interest;(2)problem-oriented and progressive;(3)Respect gender differences and teach students according to their aptitude;(4)The integration of multimedia modern technology into teaching;(5)Strengthen the training of logical thinking;(6)Pay attention to the characteristics of mathematical language to strengthen logical reasoning;(7)To establish a sound teaching evaluation system;(8)Guide students to reflect and summarize the question types.
